i most time struggle to find early nice tools and wappons and best to learn step by step is a visual list for me^^
I think the tier 6 and 7 thing refers to the new biome multiplier. It definitely adds extra skulls, increases the difficulty and type of zombies you might encounter, and loot.

I think there should absolutely be tier 6 poi... they should go to tier seben (7), as its 7 days, with a possibility of a blood moon horde to happen if you choose to enter a tier seben...

Curious question came to mind.... Could the new Police Car mechanic be modded somehow to also apply to higher tier POIs, notably large businesses like Pop-N-Pills factory for example? So that there is a chance for active alarm system maybe?

In the last update (stable I believe) in the patch notes it talks about tier 7 POIs
I dont know if its counting say a tier 5 infested thats atleast in the desert as a tier 7. Atleast thats how i justified it.

How do you level up the traders? And can you possibly cover the Navesgane locations for all of them? Only seem to be able to find 4 of them.. where is Rekt located?

Well, that's a bit more balanced than it has been since I started playing back in A18.
i havent reached max trader stage with an NPC yet but if lets say you have jen as your main trader, and grind out her quest levels. does she eventually have the capacity to sell things like a motorcyle or 4x4 since bob is the vehicle expert and not jen.
also does that make bob basically the best trader of all since food, meds, weapons and armor can generally just be found while looting/exploring/questing while vehicle parts are extremely rare to find naturally
first amazing job with the videos and these spread sheets. So unless I'm wrong this sheet just means instead of getting OP stuff from the trader on day 1 or 2 they only delayed it until like day 7 or 8 which in most cases means it would easily outpace the magazines right? I still think the traders need a massive nerf, that they should only sell resources and give out a choice of for high tier quests of either 1 tool, 1 weapon, 1 armor or 1 mod. mind you not all those choices at once but 1 of those options and the rest would be food, resources or a stack of like 5 magazines and out not give the the option for bundles at all.
I dont have the time, but im fairly sure timed charges do not work on police cars. I tried it yesterday and the car was jammed at 0 hp and could not unlock it as trying farther just destroyed the car.
maybe the tier 6's will be the bandit camps, if you can build, so can they, right? bet their bases can be all sorts of complicated and full of traps

This is an amazing way to break it down and show us trader stages. Personally though, I like to keep certain things a mystery and let the game do it's thing. There is more a surprise to it and makes the game more enjoyable. When you know every aspect of the game, it takes the surprise out of it.
ok, if secret facilities, major hospitals, and huge skyscrapers are tier 5. IF there is soon to be tier 6 Poi's what would they be? an amusment park? major military location (like pentagon, or camp Penalton)? revamped Dejong tower? (serously its like other teir 5 and then dejong tower is 5.5)
you know how annouing it is when you have been trying for ages to get say an item from the traders and they never seem to have it, but the moment you make it yourself it will suddenly be offered for sale at the traders? it seems that if your in a group, and a team mate loans you that item, you can visit the trader with said item in your inventory, it seems that that item will be... i guess unlocked in the traders invetory. After that it seems that it will show up for purchase to you from that point forward. i don't believe it is possible to cheat the loot stage with this. but will make it easier to get it from them for your current loot stage. best examole is i needed a cooking pot. and i went 5 dsays of searching. and i had no luck. but i had one in my inventory that i was holding for a team mate and visited Bob. The next time i talked to Bob he had them in his inventory. i am finding it happened more than this on other items as well.

Has anyone noticed there's a construction site for a small garage, there's always a screamer when you first interact with it?
Don't see the crucible in the program he made... but that's a bugger to find at the trader. My loot stage was 100 and I didn't see one at 7 traders. Nice spreadsheet though, much appreciation.
The crucible is not traderstage-dependent, it can appear anytime, anywhere
To add to my last comment, I just hope that the fruits of your efforts are not short-lived. The devs certainly seem to enjoy taking all the fun out of it for us.

I've got 3750+ hours in this game but even I am not sufficiently obsessed to have a spreadsheet open in the background lol.
but what about the solar cells, I have yet to find any on a trader. Currently lvl 300 w/ max DA and Finished T6 on all traders.
It's nice in theory, but just doesn't work in practice. Just hit day 10 playing on 33% loot and had enough money to make several huge leaps in one go. 1 rank of daring adventurer and 2 better barter, tier 3 quests reached, character level 25.
Walked into trader with the wooden club t3 I crafted, t2 pistol I got as a quest reward and the tier 1 wooden bow from a POI loot, walked out with lighter pockets, t2 SMG, t4 compy crossbow and a t5 steel club from one shopping trip. They are genuinely more broken for progression now than they've ever been.
Although I will acknowledge the new crafting system had me held hostage to the primitive tier for longer as I never got the chance to use a bae-ball bat, the trader straight up skipped the entire tech tier and gave end tier equip before the second horde. Ridiculous.
0:49 Hey Tem, i understand QTm is Quest_tier *modifier* but your explanation is getting misquoted as just "quest tier #"
it would help if you explained that "the modifier for having tier 2 quests complete is 10%" instead of people just adding a whole number to the base 1.
for example, if i misunderstand you, and have tier 2 quests, i would imaging level*(1 + 2) = level*3 is my trader stage if i'm working on tier 2 quests.
but its _not that exaggerated_ if people are reading this correctly, the MODIFIER for being at tier 2 quests (tier 1 complete) is what, 5% ? so 1 + 0.05, would be level*(1.05) which is much more in line with how it works.
right?
If they do add general tier 6 POI's I hope they add a airplane area where you can go through different hangers, maybe loot some crashed or blown up planes. Navezgane Commercial Airlines. Where all our customers are DEAD set on their journey.

Trader stage: how much money the trader THINKS you have, and offering you "appropriate" items.
between DA, BB, and the batons having 3 passive trees, goddamn is intellect just way too crammed with passives. no reason that BB shouldnt be a perception skill at least
Interesting, so better barter is worth more the earlier you get it basically... you could get a 40 (50?) point boost to your trader stage taking it early. It seems like they made a lot of skills far more useful early on, probably so you're not just immediately dumping points into your weapon skills or whatnot - if you did then your progression would be much slower later due to lack of magazines for tools and whatnot.
it's "Daring Adventurer" and not "better barter". BB helps things cost less, but DA can add +50 to trader stage at max level - which after player level 25 gets you in range of 4x4 parts possibly being in Trader Bob's inventory.

Oh, sorry, i mean crying... The trader seems to be COMPLETELY borked now, i was there when they explained the progression thing, but i'm running into situations where important low-tier items don't exist, and unnecissarily OP items for early games are there.
Yeah, sure, prior i could just buy a motorcycle on day 1.... but the traders usually had stuff that had a use. Now it's either stuff that completely invalidates the current crafting book system, or they're missing important stuff i NEED for progression, like WATER FILTERS.
You can still pretty much get everything from the trader within the first 14 days of gameplay. The magazines didn't make the game anymore difficult and progression is still really easy. Forget Elixirs are super cheap, spam quests and win changing up perk points as you see fit to get more of those books you need. Take Daring Adventure for tons more $$ and 2 quests rewards and make it so your trader stage is a lot higher. T1 -2 quests are super quick and easy and if you really want to cheese it just log out/in to reset the requests ......

The more of these tips and tricks videos I see coming out, the more the devs seem to be changing the game too much. I get that you and other gamers want to help the community, but it's obviously causing the devs to take away our toys, so to speak. I'm so irritated at the Greed Pimps for overcomplicating the game. Nothing they do to the game now makes any sense.
This is why I've been loving messing around with overhaul mods. If you take them for what they are they're really fun. Darkness Falls & Undead Legacy are fairly polished and have things to actually work towards, with older mechanics like Learn By Doing. Sorcery Mod and Joke Mod are just goofy things to mess around with and laugh at with a few friends. Stuff like Wild West Mod, Age Of Oblivion and Wasteland Mod are great for role-playing and just drastically changing the game in general.

a21 can offer that much content. there arent any crazy changes since a20, at least ones that cant be covered after 10-15 eps so he gotta stall a bit too. base game can be a bit repetive unlike overhauls, so Tem gotta spice it up a bit with tips n tricks /other games videos in between.
