it was sad to see all the injury related withdrawls early in the competition especially Shilese's knee injury

Hard pass on joscelyn though. She fills the same holes that Simone and Jade do (and they're very obviously better). She won't really be needed imo. They need bars/beam in the absence of Shilese.

USA has a plethora of strong, beautiful gymnasts and one by one they drop with injuries, whether from the nature of the sport itself or overtraining. ( not finger pointing or assigning blame)
We could have taken a team with artistic and athletic difficulty. These women do have it all.
I am concerned for the injured gymnasts. It's been heartbreaking to see all season.
Please keep the remaining athletes safe, strong, and both mentally and physically healthy.
    ❤❤❤❤❤

I'm surprised when you were talking about whether the selection committee would want to take Stephen Nedoroscik as a single event specialist, that they might not have a choice to take a more versatile athlete, if their mathematical program says he's on the highest scoring team. (Only if the highest scoring team from the four scores of nationals and trials and top three scores from nationals and trials are different can the selection committee tike into account other factors before naming the team.)

Couldn't hear that well...but, these injuries. Heard Vanessa Ferrari also got injured. Hope this is just an aberration and not a trend in gymnastics. Sunday will be interesting. My wild guess right now is that the team is Simone, Suni, Jordan, Jade, Joscelyn.
