[0:58] Chigi? If that's a side-strike, then it's way too high -- it's at forehead level! Also, did Kukkiwon change the chamber/preparatory motion for that strike? In Sipjin Poomsae, there's a very similar technique where the rear arm swings backward and then forward. Here, the rear arm slides along the body to reach its final position. This looks like a weird mash-up between the Eolgul Geodeureo Yeom-Makgi (Face Supported Side-Block) in Pyeongwon Poomsae and a Geodeureo Deung-Jumeok Ap/Yeop-Chigi (Supported Backfist Front/Side-Strike).
Could Kukkiwon please just use the international-standard Revised Romanization Transcription system when writing Hangeul with the Roman alphabet? These weird non-standard spellings are throwing me off. "Guduluh" ?!? "Haechu" ?!?. Just use the standard "geodeureo" and "hechyeo" -- anything else just confuses people even more than they already would be.
What is the purpose of two very slow movements? And why we have several gaps between movements? Thanks
