He was chasing the highlight knockout against guys who didn’t want to fight. If I’m KSI, I have short term memory about this night and look forward towards his next actual test.
He doesn't want a test, he wants to fight on 99% chance wins. I hope he fights Salt Papi bcoz thats a real test there.

JJ's biggest improvement was that double jab to the devastating body shot... holy moly they look painful. And he threw them correctly and with intention, which was good to see. He needs to slip, roll and keep that fucking guard up though... if he faces worthy opponents HE WILL get clocked- no questions.

His opponent was an annorexic who only fought at 140 lbs before figthing KSI

What I liked about KSI: He had better footwork than against Logan Paul, he was fucking fast and was able to use his feet with the punches, he had good body work, he was mixing it up, also in the Pineda fight I really liked the he threw the uppercut to end the fight, that was a great shot, he had also a ton of energy, he was on the front foot for both fights and was nonstop throwing, in the last Logan fight he was looking gassed after 2 rounds.
What I didnt like: KSI was still throwing the big overhand right, especially in the Pineda fight, it was working, but it was not enought to knock Pineda out, if he was thorwing more straight right hands he would take Pineda out way faster, his jab was good, but he wasnt really stepping in with the jab, he would set up the right overhands way better if he was shooting a quick strong jab.

Couldn't set it better. I personally think that he's also a bit too confident in his power. He has it, but it isn't a guarantee win. We weren't able to see his defense either so I am curious how he will box when fighting a decent opponent
Also I noticed that when KSI throws the overhand it lands in the palm of his hand, that takes the power the punch slightly away. Also he is pushing his jab instead of flicking it out, there is still work to be done, but after 3 years without real boxing camp training hes improved a lot

My list of things JJ needs to improve on;
1. Defence (specifically head movement) if he does that I'll give him the upper hand against Jake. Because I only see Jake winning by knockout (overhand right) and not by out boxing JJ to a decision. Jake doesn't seem to have the stamina.
2. Using his jab as a weapon and not just a set up for the right.
3. Shot selection and combos, starting with that jab.
He shouldn't chase Jake's 1 punch KO.
He should use combinations and defense to create a path to a KO
Jake's last two fights were 8 rounds each. The most KSI has ever done is 6. Jake definitely has stamina. I also don't agree with the Jake winning by knockout only argument because he's not a Deontay Wilder. He beat Woodley without a knockout. KSI isn't some insanely skilled boxer.
Jake will outbox KSI easily my friend...
1. Being humble
2. Respecting others.
3, not being a dick.

@@haidermoh.9937 KSI only having to fight for maximum of 6 rounds previously doesn't mean he's only trained to last that long. He's got the endurance to go for longer and if he perfects certain key elements, I don't see him falling short of being the favourite against Jake.
He has improved a lot but was unfortunate with his opponents not putting up a fight and just running. He has more to show, but wasn’t able to. Excited for his next fight tho. Love the work Wade, you’re the best!❤️

JJ actually has a ton of potential. If he can just stay balanced and managing distance. Then he could break people apart, and hopefully he will discover that the KO will just Organically present itself and then it can happen much more fluidly. I'm really happy In his conditioning and improved boxing tactics because ( I have always felt JJ has heart and all the potential athleticism) I have to admit that I was sorta harsh on judging his boxing prior to this. I thought he was sloppy, wreckless, leaving himself open to get clipped whenever he is engaging, the striking was sloppy and he didn't turn over his punches, shift angles, use body shots or a diversity of striking technique's. BUT. After seeing how much work he has put in, and he is being guided by some great coaches and they have been honest with him on the things he needed to address and improve on. He showed he is fully capable of doing that. The best thing is: it takes heart to do that. You almost have to learn how to take valid criticism and not let it effect your ego or get defensive/hurt feelings. It's more of a driven mindset that also handles adversity, which is very useful perspective to have as a athlete. I'm proud of JJ and Deji, slim, salt papi, Sensei, Dean the great, all of them. People are really putting in work and pushing themselves and I admire that no matter who you are. Props. (Lastly: You, WADE Needs to be on the boxing commentary! Has to!! You are such a gifted dude, my dude. You really add that extra layer to an event. ) You did so good on the Creator Clash event. Now you've been doing all this amazing pre/post fight work with these event cards and it's just awesome to witness man!

What i like about JJ and what Wade pointed out is that he goes for the body a lot, and he has absolutely devastating power at the same time. He could tire out or make more opponents take a knee for sure with that in mind, they look so damn painful

KSI has definitely improved massively, Just watching them clips from KSI vs Logan 2 you can instantly tell he's much better, Would have hoped at least Pineda would have went toe to toe with him so he can set up shots better, But overall it was good for what he got. Also saw him switch stances during the Pineda fight but round ended so couldn't see him use it

Disagree, in the KSI v Swarmz fight. Deji definitely looked better than KSI. But in the KSI v Pineda fight, KSI looked better and looks like he could pose a threat to someone like Tommy Fury.

I love that Wade is getting more opportunities to be involved in the UA-cam fight game and hope he continues to grow in that area but I seriously think it’s a conflict of interest when actually analyzing and speaking about fighters. He doesn’t want to burn any bridges so he’s never going to talk bad about anyone again even if it’s the more accurate observation.

Not always. It’ll definitely be there when he’s fighting people he genuinely has hatred for and that’s what I’m scared of when he’s eventually fighting jake. If he sticks to his boxing and on top of improving his technicals, he can certainly put up a decent fight or even win against jake
For someone that people say he has knockout power, I sure have yet to see him knock anyone out. I know stoppage counts as a KO but thats not what I meant.

JJ doesn’t have power like Jake and that’s facts. He could only knock them down multiple times and Jake would’ve put them to sleep as soon as they hit the canvas
Difference is Jake’s opponents didn’t run and he could hit them easier. JJ had to chase his opponents and I think his power is still close to Jake’s because he made them quit. Jake hasn’t done that
I think they are pretty similar on the terms of power but Jake has better accuracy. And it's hard to knock down someone who is constantly running away from you.

@@robbiewagner6532 na watch the Logan Paul 2 fight and watch his 2 fights recently jj did have a few wild swings but they were mostly overhand rights that they got out of the way because they were a bit telegraphed they weren’t wild swings it’s a bit different but it looks like a regular wild swing when u miss. His ring generalship was good in the sense he was dominant but if he cut off the ring better he wouldn’t be chasing Pineda and especially swarmz around and instead could’ve knocked them out cold a lot easier

Ksi beat up some twig amateurs. These guys aren’t boxers until they box someone in their own weight class and go on a 6 fight win streak. Notice I said in their weight class, 6 fight win streak. Until Joke Paul, Logay Paul, KSI, and the rest of the Disney YT community does they aren’t boxers that deserve to be called pros. FIGHT REAL COMPETITION. I understand that he was tryna chase the KO due to the level of his opponents, but he talked such a big game that i expected to see a lot more than what we did get. I wanted to see him break them down and create openings with the jab. Use some feints to get them to throw and slip with an upper. Stuff like that. The second i saw a windmill in the pineda fight the disappointment was pretty big, because he couldve knocked them out clean so easily if he didnt load up on every punch and closed the ring off instead of walking them down. Plus he kept his hands down a lot too. Its those windmills that led to those near the back of the head punches. All he had to do was throw straight and mix some to the body and pineda’s head woulved opened up for a clean shot. It’s probably just me drinking the koolaid mixed with the lackluster opponents that left me disappointed with his two showings. Also showed that he’s currently nowhere near Jake and even though I dislike Jake he knock’s JJ out easily right now

It's kinda easy to look good vs running punching bags. Sorta like Deji looking amazing vs Fousey. Deji is good for a boxer in the youtube boxing field, but Fousey is also horrrrible.

Honestly jjs opponents were just not good enough for any of us to see if he’s really improved. WADE doesn’t wanna burn bridges so I’ll say it. JJ only looked slightly better from when he fought Logan… We shall see on his next fight if he has truly improved, hopefully it’s slim.
I disagree massively with that statement about him only looking slightly better than Logan 2, not only was his shot selection far better against Pineda/Swarmz but he had actual set ups, as Wade stated better balance, he switched stances to find better angles to land shots and for the most part his shots were far less sloppy, does he need to still improve on things? Absolutely, he did get untidy in there, as Wade stated his defence needs some work, but in comparison to the second Logan fight he’s improved in leaps and bounds
Ksi has become more experienced in the ring, but would he beat Jake? If you have time we have shown ways in which KSI can beat Jake, check it out

Jj is actually pretty terrible. U would expect him to cut off the ring against a guy who has never fought in his life and smokes weed all day. He’s obsessed with throwing the right hand and couldn’t even ko two bums Jake would’ve slept with ease like he did Nate and woodley.
Ksi would knock these guys out too if they didn’t run away the entire time, none of jakes opponents have run away like this to the point where jake had to literally run after them. Its a lot easier to knock somebody out when they’re actually fighting back.
@@anudeepkhadka6053 it’s a fight man, ksi made many mistakes for example making the other fighter fear him, if he would’ve been patient and let the other guy throw before he throws, it would give the other guy false confidence and then he’ll ko him, I did that in a fight I was just the better boxer and I saw he started to fear me, so I acted like I was tired and he came forward and I let him throw to gain confidence and when he had confidence I threw the left hook, right hand and left uppercut and sat him down, and since it was amateur the ref stopped the fight
@@tsgrapiidz6970 kinda, you wouldn’t understand if you haven’t fought, for example let’s say you and I fight, and you’re scared of me, and when we’re fighting you see you have a little more success than you thought you would, so you start to gain a little more confidence and start coming forward, and that’s exactly what I want you to do, I want you to gain confidence so you can come forward and fall into my traps, if you come forward Guns blazing your opponent will get scared and all he will do is run away, and you can’t really knock out a guy that doesn’t want to fight, so you make the guy want to fight by giving him false confidence and then you set him up for the KO

Was actually expecting better. He chased 2 fighters round the ring and just went all guns blazing. Plenty of power but Deji clearly got more technique. If you can't show good technique against 2 bums what chance does he have against a real challenge

Yeah buddy, you clearly don't have a good understanding of boxing and you definitely do not box in real life. As an amateur boxer who regularly watches boxing, KSI didn't look that good in the Swarmz fight, but in the Pineda fight, with less ring rust, he showed decent technique and reminded me of Derek Chisora. The way he threw body shots and cut off the ring was great. Not only that, he took his head off the centre line nicely too.
He was against people that ran and turned they back the whole time, Fousey was a human punching bag that stood there so deji could pick shots much easier

Throwing a big overhand isn’t a “windmill.” That’s something the casuals are confused about. The “windmill” comes from trying to throw bombs out of range, which he didn’t do in either of his last fights.

He did not get better. He just hits harder, is more balanced and is way more conditioned. KSI dont use jabs, no feints, chasing instead of cutting off, terrible timing etc. He just got that killer mentally and power.

I think he's the most overrated boxer in the UA-cam boxing scene. I genuinely think Deji would be making him miss all fight let alone a more talented boxer.

Jake's defense is horrendous its the worst thing about his boxing skull his offense although terrible is his strongest point mostly becuase of the willingness to ko but also becuase of his straight right but that's not that great I dunno where u see average I still see trash and have not seen one semi challenging opponent

Ksi absolutely became a better fighter..the difference between the Logan fights,and these are clearly visible.
But deji is the one who I still believe,has the potential to become an actual worldbeater in boxing... the natural style deji has,is amazing
By FAR the biggest improvement KSI made was his footwork. That being said, he's still loading up way too much and telegraphing his shots. Unnecessarily too may I add. He has enough power as it is, and doesn't need to load up the way he does. He threw a few good body shots but idgaf what anybody says there's lvls to this game and KSI's still behind the 8 ball when it comes to a Jake Paul matchup. The thing that people seemingly leave out when talking about KSI being ready for Jake in 2023 is that Jake's just going to continue getting better too. Jake doesn't stop getting better just bc KSI is focusing more on boxing now and less on his music, tours, videos, businesses, ect. I said all along that KSI's best opportunity to beat Jake was right after the Logan fight. Not saying it's impossible for KSI to beat Jake bc it 100℅ is possible but I still see a gap. Jake doesn't have great head movement, or defense but neither does KSI. The biggest thing I see separating them is that Jake does have GREAT timing. Great timing beats great speed and power all day. We'll see what happens but for now I still see a gap between the 2.
