I was, like you, in the car business the first 10 years of my career. At one point I was a sales manager at a dealership, we had a consignment agreement with a lease company, we would process the lease returns and put put them up for retail. In 1988 someone dropped off an 87 911 cabriolet, guards red with palomino interior and top. 7000 miles and like new. I called the leasing company to report the condition and get the wholesale price. She told me $21,000. That was at least 8k under the market at the time. An hour later I called her and asked if I could buy it and how much? She said yes and your price is $21,000. I almost shit my pants. What a car,had it for about six months before selling it for $31,000

Hi Jason, lots of nice wheels. Every time I see a Toyota pick up here I think about Maxine 😅 That was a nice yute. Imagine buying one of those Chevy’s and not being able to get replacement parts? Yikes that’s a nightmare. Their style is nice but even here in the states I wouldn’t buy a GM. I think I would buy the lime green car, I would never forget where I parked with that little gem 555. Hi mate, yeah I do miss Maxine and loved her but not so great for longer open road driving and bumpy roads but still loved her! Yes I think buying a Chev here could be a nightmare trying to get parts and repairs.
