Meet Ben Curtis, getting his first Kentucky Derby mount aboard Honor Marie

Ben Curtis, looking for another challenge after riding for many years in Europe and the Middle East, came over to the U.S. to ride the Fair Grounds meet. He's now extending his time here, planning to be based in the Mid-Atlantic. But first he's got the Kentucky Derby, getting his first mount in the world's greatest race on Louisiana Derby runner-up Honor Marie. Ben was a champion apprentice in Ireland and rode more than 1,000 winners in his native Britain.
