I commented before, that was going to be the right fix . I’m glad you had the room above the frame rails for the fix, and it worked out. I wasn’t that lucky with my corvair swap onto my jeep frame as I had to raise my body up those 4 inches and then lower the floors back down to the top of the frame. Talk about a lot of work. Keep going, your doing great and learning a lot. 👍

No it was a 95 s10 with 350 350 trans.iput the blazer gas tank in back and decided to run duel exhaust but will run the exhaust out the side in front of the back tires if not out under the back bumper.realy like your progress. You the man.
@@ericwilkes238 that’s awesome! Did you buy the S 10 with the 350 already in it? If so that’s honestly the best way to go about it. I’m also going to have my exhaust dump out on the passenger side in front of the back wheel.
You’re absolutely right. I’m very happy with how it turned out. For some reason I didn’t show it with the seats mounted but I will in the upcoming video that will be out next week. I was just crushed because I didn’t think I would have to do this. But it worked great!
I have a 1968 Monza that I restored 35 years ago been sitting covered in a wood floor barn for 20 years shame on me. I feel your pain I've been trying to fit newer style safer seats in my 1985 FIAT spider without modifying the floor pan. I want to keep floor pan original for obvious reasons. Getting proper seat height is a challenge making my own mounting hardware trial and error. 2010 Miata were close but couldn't get low enough 2017 Miata seats worked but had to delete the sliding rails. Congrats to all your hard work, not many guys your age have your ambition.
Good luck with your seat dilemma! And I totally get what you mean. I really want to drive my other Corvair and that has taken me a long time. But this is the year to get it done. And thank you, I agree. Not many people my age would even consider doing a project like this.

Some of the best customs don't look anything like the original "plan" Just go with the flow and don't rush it. It's going to be great!
