Hello everyone and happy new year! I thought what better way to kick start the new year than to upload a video, I've missed this fabulous platform. Just a side note, I have actually cut my hair two months ago, so you may spot a difference in my hair.
Anyway, this video is just to show what I do at the moment. It's a pretty simple routine...Shampoo, moisture treatment, and styling products! classic combination.
A list of products include:
1. Shea Moisture Growth and Restore Shampoo
2. Aussie 3 minute hair treatment (My favourite one is Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration Treatment)
3. Cantu Leave-In Conditioner
4. Cantu moisturising curl activating cream
5. TRESemme 'Botanique' Air Dry Curl Cream
6. 'As I Am' DoubleButter cream

Omg I envy your hair😍😍😍I’m trying to grow mine out waist length like how I had it 4 years ago before I chopped it all off because I wanted something “new”🙄🙄god do I wish I never cut it😂but it’s ok, now I’ve just been doing deep treatments and wearing my hair in braids everyday expect for the weekends👌🏼

Hey love. I looked on the think dirty app to see if ingredients are harmful and Cantu came out to be BUT... all Shea moisture products are natural! And works great on my natural hair! So I was going to try to switch enshrining to Shea moisture! It’s just a heads up ! You have beautiful curls 😍

Literal hair goals 😍 my hair is super fine and thin. Currently working on getting it to thicken back up. Do you have any recommendations on products you've come across that might help?
Esmeralda Santos I’m always trying to thicken my hair too! I’m questioning a lot of products atm but I know that the best way is to try and have a good regime. Keep doing treatments on your hair, detangle gently, sleep with a satin pillow case! But I will get back to you on products :)

how did you get so much volume,i have the same hair as you but my hair is literally flat
Use a diffuser and a pick
Agree ^ I literally fluffed my hair so much for the shot! Some days I have flat days other days my hair likes to be big. But if you’re going for volume then I suggest diffuse, pick and lighter products that dont weigh hair down
... I literally have like 4c hair but... here I am 😑 I envy girls with this hair type 😭😭😭
Your hair is so beautiful but the ends look really thin and see through, maybe it’s breakage
You should start from the bottom up when you apply products rather than putting most of it on the roots first
I find the leave in conditioner weighs my hair down
Use leave in conditioners that are light weighted like the liquid onesi think for example.
But see the problem is I don’t have time to do that everyday before school.
Lexie M I only do this once a week! Not every day. When I was at school I liked to wash my hair a lot too, but I’d suggest maybe try refreshing your hair with water (spray bottle) before school and a little product. Also sleeping with a hair bonnet/satin pillow case can make your curls last longer. Hope this helps!

CourtneysCurls shea moisture sucks imo , & a lot of people ik have also said the same thing. it makes my hair dry and my hair never looks dry🥺
Nope that’s one line of products I trust and has always worked for my hair, plus I like the natural ingredients they use. Out of curiosity what do you use?
CourtneysCurls i used their jco shampoo and the deep conditioning but i felt it wasnt doing anything & making my hair super dry. this might be long but • i no longer do my hair w/ products bc i work 6 days a week, but i was using Deva Curls B’Leave In, Volumizing Foam, & Arc Angel Gel. Now I’ll probably have to scrap those bc of what’s been happening to me and many others. The only other products I have now is Aussie Miracle Curl Leave-In Milk & NYM Curl Talk Gel. I use TGIN Shampoo & OGX Extra Strength Conditioner. I have to find all new styling products once again smh..!!
