Teej, I think the Jr Garage 355 is the move. Its turn key, tuned and clean all around. Even better already is in black making it better base to change the color if you wanted. This way you a Micky can both rock 355s.
I haven’t been keeping up with JR garage in a long time, I remember there original red over tan f355, was clean car but was an F1 transmission model, not the model I think tj would want if that is the one they still have.

If you want a bananas exhaust, go for the top speed pro 1 challenge exhaust and a decatted y pipe (bypass). It'll echo off of buildings and sound full on race car, exhaust burbles and pops, full on rowdy. Even with the cats it's pretty bonkers, but without it'll sound like you're driving at lemans. It also drops a bunch of weight off the rear of the car.
Just seeing your reaction driving it means you have to buy one. That was my poster car back in when they released. Seen it in golden eye years ago and loved it ever since.
I was looking at that 355 as well. It has a rebuilt title I believe, which is also why the price is where it’s at. Miles and all I think it’s a good buy for you if you’re looking to get into one simply because you’ll be able to do whatever you want with it and not really worry about depreciation. Sema Build even
You should got check out the car you called about! Take Dillion and Ean to check it over and drive it! If there’s almost double the money or more left on the table that’s what I would do! And you want it yellow or red and it’s yellow! Probably a great car somebody just enjoyed it! TJ get you a spider and build something like the hardtop for the Mercedes Pagoda (permanent soft top and you add a hard top that can be removed in 5 mins). Or go balls out and build you a GTS actually molding the bodyframe. The 355 is special enough for a project like that

TJ there's a reason the soft tops 355's are cheaper it's because nobody wants them, the coupe is way better in looks, handling, refinement and future values. It might be a more expensive but it's worth it.

Regardless I fell in love with that car when you drove it, the sound and gated manual trans and the HREs are so perfect on it however I would love to see it in BRG with those HREs in bronze ❤ 1,000,000% you should get one
Phantom Works did a removable hardtop for a 63 split window Corvette convertible. It looks like a coupe with the classic split window. You could take it a step further than that and do the first folding hard top 355 Ferrari.
If you get it should do a 90's jdm inspired build on it would look sick in British racing green to match the bmw and rx7 and make some street hunter parts for it give it that tj touch
I had a F355 vert for a while and battled hydraulic issue and the microswitch issues, among sticky interior and various other problems. Get the berlinetta ALL DAY long and add the rear Ferrari Challenge grill, a tubi exhaust and it doesnt get better for a 355. It'll never be better than a 512 TR though...
It goes 246, 308, 328, 348, 355, 430, 458, 488 etc you can make the argument of the 288, but the f40 was top tier, f50, Enzo, la ferrari. Wasn’t in the same class, non the less, 355 was iconic because Michael Schumacher tested and helped developed the car. Schumacher 7x f1 champion.

Always liked the 348 bc it had testarossa vibes. The 355 is a more refined in the engine area than the 348 bc the 348 was kinda fire prone. But the next step from the 355 which is the 360 is one of my favorites.
Dude, get a 360, so much easier to have and maintain, I love mine so much. But if you buy it, paint it millennium jade, it would look awesome with the green top, and that car in that dealer is the real deal, VIN 100489 is a challenge kitted car that was not registered or competed in the challenge series, the challenge cars we're only built in the factory after 1997, until then it was a kit in a big crate that Ferrari sent to dealers all over the world to be put into stock cars to be made into race cars for the Ferrari challenge series that still exists today. even tho the car was never registered as a "real" challenge car you can be sure that it is, the kit is OEM and been installed in the car when new, and there are some posts in the forum ferraritalk about this specific car it even has the challenge specific brakes and suspension. Thank you for making me realize that car is there, I think I'll buy it if it is nice, I'm in orlando. Just the challenge parts in it are worth half that 80k.

The convertible’s suck they leak, they are heavier and they handle shit because the chassis are floppy because no roof to tie the body together. Hence why they are cheaper.
There is something about the 355, i drove a brand new one when i was 16, uncles car, my car would beat the hell out of it but the 355 makes u feel a certain way that is incredible.
Let’s talk engine mods, do like an all motor build with it. Try to just like bump up the power to like 500-550 HP range. With the power to weight ratio of that car, that would be a fun power band to play with.

The NSX is slower, more than likely, but you get the precision fabrication from Honda like Mickey was talking about like the GTR world, but with “some” exotic design flair. Some in quotations because it’s not as flashy as the 455. A Street Hunter kit for an NSX could also be an absolute game changer 👀

I have no idea what ya’ll on about with “different tiers” this is a mid engine V8 Ferrari, which came before the 360 Modena. just like a 458, F430. Nothing special in that sense. With that said, this is a amazing car and you should buy it.
You should do a collab with Toyota and do a hydrogen internal combustion engine conversion. Buy another brz/gr86 and have them help you out with the hydrogen conversion, they already did this to a gr86, gr Yaris, and gr Corolla. It would be a great series thats similar to throtl's 370z EV conversion. Also, you live in cali where there are more than 50 hydrogen stations. Also for the fun you can do another brz/gr86 with a hydrogen fuel cell swap too. The series can be called the Keep moving forward with hydrogen power

Tj look for a road legal challenge 355. Ferrari sold the conversions and the conversions were added to the cars by Ferrari dealerships. They came with speedline magnesium wheels and a few other minor changes like the wing and different suspension, seats and exhausts as well as the roll cage. I suspect that the green wrapped challenge has one of these conversions and the dealer has not realized the value associated with it. These road going derivatives are highly valuable and the Speedline magnesium wheels and wing as well as the roll cage is a dead give away. Maybe do some more research into this car…I’m sure you would be surprised to see what comes up
The badge is also a give away as it was only sold with the full kit. It is likely that the car was a factory f355 berlinetta before it was converted by Ferrari themselves. In terms of lineage this car would be the spiritual predecessor to the 360 challenge stradale, 430 scuderia, 458 speciale and the 488 pista. Not only is it unreal to drive , it is also highly likely that it will appreciate in value if it is in fact a Ferrari factory conversion. I have had the privilege of knowing an individual who owned one of these conversion and was also lucky enough to track it on several occasions. Hence my knowledge on the matter.

Some dealers are clueless. They don’t always know what they have. It’s just a car to them. Special edition cars slip through the cracks. I looked at a Stage 2 roush at a used car dealership once. The dealership had no idea what it was.

458 has repleased the 355. In terms of best driver. Manual convert a 458. And ull have modern, bluetooth modern 355. Like it bested the 348. U should look that up what they bettered from the 348 and ull know what to do. Investment? 355 gts adn 458 im not sure. Supercarguy knows a lot more. And manual conerts
That sound on the Porsche is a rock stuck between the brake shield/rotor. Happened all the time on my FK8, and now happens on my Integra Type S. Whenever you see loose gravel, you gotta drive slow over it so it doesn’t fly up… dumbest problem ever lol

Just make sure the fuel pumps and holders get the upgrades and fit braided fuel pipes to stop the 355 fire issues. Great car the 355

458 has repleased the 355. In terms of best driver. Manual convert a 458. And ull have modern, bluetooth modern 355. Like it bested the 348. U should look that up what they bettered from the 348 and ull know what to do. Investment? 355 gts adn 458 im not sure. Supercarguy knows a lot more. And manual conerts

That sound on the Porsche is a rock stuck between the brake shield/rotor. Happened all the time on my FK8, and now happens on my Integra Type S. Whenever you see loose gravel, you gotta drive slow over it so it doesn’t fly up… dumbest problem ever lol
