An addendum: I went to Sephora yesterday and looked at the liquid bronzers from both Laura Mercier and Milk Makeup. Both of them were on the creamy side and therefore seemed much different than these Jones Road bronzers, which have a clear base and are more of a gel. I think the gel works better for me in terms of giving a totally natural look and mistake-proof look, too. So once again, Bobbi Brown has put out something that seems really unique to me. She is really a wizard!
Here is one more new product that I just found through a UA-cam ad, with a container that looks very similar to the Jones Road one.

I finally tried the Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Drops, which seemed similar to the Jones Road gel bronzers but which unfortunately were pretty irritating to my skin. I also just saw that Tarte now has a product called Key Largo Glow Bronzing Drops, which seem more like a slightly shimmery bronzer. So I am interested in trying that one too.
Everyone seems to love the Clinique gel.
I would like to give that a try then!

Yes, while it does seem that most people (or at least most Americans) are much more interested in makeup than skincare, I have found that getting the right skincare for me has been much more important for me in terms of improving how I look in general. ❤

I think the current Jane Iredale one has a little less pigment but I do like it as a primer. The Rose Inc. foundation is also similar and I do like that one too. ❤
I adore the Clinique gel bronzer. I apply with a damp sponge to make it a little more forgiving. It’s literally a perfect product
Oh, that is really interesting that you like it so much. I do really like the Clinique powder bronzer (which I think has been discontinued now), and so I wonder if the color of their gel bronzer is similar.

Hi Lisa, thanks for this review, I have a lot of JR but I’m on the fence about this. Her Bobbi Brown Cosmetics had a gel/ liquid bronzer like this back in the day when she was there. I loved that one.
Oh, I didn''t know that there used to be a gel bronzer in the Bobbi Brown line. I do really like this product and think that I am going to get some good. use out of it!
Great review, can you compare the light gel bronzer to Westman atelier powder bronzer in the lightest shade? I feel light both have peachy undertones

I have tried the Tawny color and discussed it in this video at about 46:00. It is a reddish color that I think is somewhat like the Gel Bronzer in the medium shade, but it is very very sheer. So maybe that is even more the "most natural-looking hint of a tan," now that I think about it. ❤
I haven't tried the Sunkissed color. The issue for me with the Miracle Balms is that they all include a bunch of essential oils, including rose geranium oil (which I seem to have an actual allergy to). So even though I really like the way that they perform, I haven't been able to wear them for much other than demonstration purposes since they are irritating for me.

Bronzer doesn't look right on me. I think because of my rosacea.
