how did you get co op working again? (unless this is local co op)
it's local (we just use steam remote play to 'fake' online). HOWEVER, I recently heard (and could be wrong, haven't double checked) that official online co-op will be out in November. So here's hoping!
Eddmund was asked via twitter when online coopis comming out and he stated November for the 10th aniversery of isaac repentance or something along those lines

Funny thing about the missed chaos card: it didn't matter. Chaos card has 2 things it can't kill: The Beast and Delirium. It wouldn't have worked anyway lmao
A useful tip far rolling key pieces is that if you know for a fact you can get more than 2 angel fights, then you can roll the key pieces into angel items, I’ve got like 3 sacred hearts doing that, it feels so good to pull it off too*
right, that's absolutely reasonable, but I just never feel confident enough to know I'm gonna get more than 2 lol. Maybe worth it if I end up in situations with sacrifice rooms...

Pretty cool thing you can do is grab two items at the same time in angel rooms like this one 5:10.
Just pause when you are both at the wall parallel to the item you each want to grab, keep w pressed and unpause!

@@Kynatic This also works with soy milk. I think once your tear rate hits 10 (not sure about that number tho), chargeable items dont need to charge anymore. This is especially useful for tech x
Brimstone would've also worked with haemolacrea, creating giant tears that split into many brimstone beams

I'd love that, but it might be a bit difficult to set up like that. I'll think about it again for when the dlc comes out, provided the update doesn't break the mod.

@@chrisgomez1262 yeah, i get it, but often times dlc needs to update the whole game in order to make it compatible and everything. We'll see what happens.
It also might be a bit difficult because I'm not sure if the mod is made with the idea you've beaten Insane mode first and if it is I doubt i'd be able to keep my friends around on it long enough to go through it. So yeah, no promises but I think it could be fun if it works out!

As an Issac fan myself, this is entertaining to watch.
If you didn't know you do more damage to delierium when he's in his normal form when he's a different boss you do less damage
the lost is fun, eternal d6 has its moments where it sucks but its also gambling my beloved
the amazing part of the lost is that you can just, die, no matter what, no matter the circumstance, no matter how op you are, two hits and youre gone
it makes it so much more interesting than get god item, win easy, because you still have to think a bit no matter what stage in the game youre in, and if youre lucky, you basically have a 2 charge d6 - great for rigging, just be a little luckier
the keeper is alright, but not amazing - still underrated though
once you have nickel unlocked youre pretty good to go, triple shot without the massive tank to your tears multiplier can be really good and while im not the biggest fan, ill still defend keeper as enjoyable from time to time, even if hes weird to play, even if hes not that great. can be a fun way to switch up runs
the best thing about isaac is that no matter what, theres a character that fits your playstyle, from glass cannon to tank to everything in between, and you can have your own opinions on all of them by yourself and play who you want whenever

I've played lots of co-op Isaac, and a strat you can do when you have multiple choice item pedestals where you can only take one is time up with the other player and run to grab an item for each player at the same time. If you're both the same speed great! But if you're both at different speeds, practice "having a race" with the other person to figure out how far apart each of you need to be to grab both items at the same time 😉
And phew! That initial Mega Satan fight while holding that R Key was risky! 😬 That was literally a 50/50 whether Delirium portal would spawn or not. If not, bye bye R Key 👋

Thank you so much! Glad you liked it! These highlight videos are a tiny bit easier to work on than the huge retrospectives, so it's nice to see people still appreciate them. Even if I still go above the requirement with an animation or two and some extra affects lol...
We actually know about the multiple choice pedestal thing, but I think we just didn't feel like setting it up this time. Actually, since we play on steam remote play, one of the things we sometimes do is I take control of the keyboard (his playstyle) while using my controller and just press the buttons at the same exact time to make sure we get it. Had a very high success rate doing that for the trick, but sometimes we just wanna casually go through levels.
...aaaand oh shit you're totally right. I think we completely forgot about that quirk of Mega Satan, so we REALLY lucked out there. But I guess the concern was also if we'd get a chance to get another key possibly? Either way, damn, you're totally right, we were NOT thinking lmao.
I never thought of combining the 2 for the ultimate duo. I got to tell my friend the next time we play Isaac.

Delirium is the only enemy in the game that is not affected by chaos card
You can grab 2 items at the same time in multiplayer by pausing

Tbh, i think the major benifit is that neither character needs regular HP, so they can ignore those. ALSO GOOD THING YOU DIDN'T DO BOSS RUSH AS KEEPER'S BOSS RUSH REWARD IS ONE OF THE WORST IN THE GAME.
Haemolacria + Brimstone is one of the most BROKEN synergies in the game, you should check it out sometime. Also your friend's voice sounds VERY familiar.
If you do a victory lap and then use r key it re enables achievements and resets timer. It's best seen on a later character who can craft items, you can spend an hour crafting your build and then victory lap and r key to get boss rush and hush.

Go for the beast and get some tainted characters they are very different and unique and fun to play

If you wanna laugh, none of my friends actually heard the resemblance until people on YT comments started making the connection. Many of us still don't hear it, but it's so funny that this is such a common thing to see!

And yeah, it's a shame how some people end up being, but I'm still starting out and the last thing I want to do is become so "content-brained" I force friends into doing something they don't want to do. Off 'camera' I always try to make sure that things are going well for them, and they are ok with everything that happens. After all if they're a part of my video they should be treated with respect, it's their time after all.
One of the things I've noticed I enjoy the most is engaging with comments and stuff. At least at the moment I haven't been scared off lmaoooo. It's funny, you hear so often from bigger creators about the horrors of YT comments you start to dread the idea of having to wade through it, but it's been wonderful so far getting to talk with everyone who has commented as if it was casual conversation. Definitely a pleasant surprise, I love it.

that isn't to say i wouldn't like it. lazy mattman seems really chill from his videos and I think it would be cool to interact with other creators, but I certainly don't have that kind of presence to just make something happen. sorry lol.

What mods did u use :P
I only really use QoL mods a lot of the time. One of my favorites is the wardrobe which lets you pick which costume pieces you use. Also the Reaction Pack so Isaac can make funny faces and dance to good items. Otherwise, there's nothing really special here.

how do you do multiplayer
For normal co-op, you only need to make sure that other controllers are used in the first room so that new players can pick their character. Otherwise it's just starting it like a normal game.
For the record, it's only local co-op for now, so you'd need to use something like steam remote play in order to play online. But official online multiplayer should be coming soon.
