Hey! I tried finding Ford Transit and Ford Transit Custom on my KM100 I recently got. It does not have the model in the IMMO catalog? Where and how did you get yours in there? Also nice video :)
Hi, they told me from autel that if i use third party keys i have to use preprogrammed ones. What do they actually mean? I dont know the difference. Can't i simply take an IDXX Transponder and put it into the key?
@@IMTRONICS-ed3cj I’m assuming they mean you do have to use the specific remote/chip for the vehicle, but yes if you have a blank mechanical key and add the correct transponder you can program it to the vehicle yes, some vehicles need a precoded chip, fiat, VAG, you can read the precode and generate a “dealer key” using Autel for most of these. You will struggle with some of the newer VAG group keys though depending on the system.
Thanks for the reply, i found a bunch of different transponder chips and they all have specific id's. I guess if the id fits to the one in the KM100 it should be possible.
@@IMTRONICS-ed3cj sorry not sure what you mean. The transponder id is specific for vehicle make model and year, nothing to do with the key programmer, all that does it program the key, if the key you are using has the wrong chip for the vehicle it won’t work, if you get what I mean.
