Not this ridiculous thrusting loins, holding the pickles and dragging your feet from side to side as the young do it today, but if they enjoy it so be it. It doesn’t alter the fact that proper dance will never go out of fashion because it’s structured and nostalgic, and all ages enjoy it.
Love the way you really showed the differences & similarities of both styles of dance. I could watch you guys dance for hours. Not like a creepy person, like a proud grandma!! ✌🏼😅
The Irish dance side is hard. Shuffle...easy for someone with dance experience. Lol these guys could smash shuffle out of the park if they wanted to do it seriously...which should tell those who shuffle...what they should train to improve their coordination to the point where they wanna shine as a shuffle dancer. The grace and elegance of Irish Dance can never be found in Club Dances. This would be a fun performance with a group of the two types of dancers competing then combining on stage. Fusion like only you can do!!!!
I just can't get over all the ankle action in the Irish dancing. After 6 years of ballet, 3 years of modern dance and jazz, plus decades of stage dancing (theatre and band), I never knew ankles could move like that. I'm always awestruck watching you two.

Love it. 60 years ago I tapped but the style was nothing like this Irish dancing. Had another run across of some tap that the taps were different than solid mount taps. That was fun with loose taps.
