I tried to create a campaign following those exact steps, but it get declined due to an invalid url. While the url works, Google says it’s ad bots can’t crawl. Did anybody else experience this or even better find a solution for it?

Idk if it's just me, but I'm trying to set up my first Google Ad and it won't show me all these features! It's forcing me to stay within a basic new campaign setup with limited customization options. I'm hoping once I get through the first one it'll give me access to the full dashboard...
You are probably a new account and forced into the Smartplan Mode. I had to call Google to get out of that and put into expert mode. Basically, I had to go into incognito mode on my browser and then after a few attempts a screen came up that had a link to opt out of the smartplan mode.
