Once i was in Art class, i had this one friend that also went, she was beautiful, we had this big mirror in the room so we'd look at ourselves in the mirror she would say i have small thighs and i tell myself i have big thinghs she tells me "i wish i had your thighs" even tho i want her thighs, i wanted her whole appearance, she was that beautiful, i was very insecure of my body so I'd hide it and i would pray at night that one day id have her body, please be kind to urself ❤

It's sad how these beauty standards set by the media or society make us prone to being self-conscious. We have to understand that people have different body types. Everyone is different and that is perfectly okay! You could be the most hottest or beautiful person in the world but valued differently somewhere else. Although this truth can be harsh or saddening, it is up to you whether or not you want to feel accepted or confident. Confidence isn't "they all like me," but it is rather "I'm okay if they don't like me and I'm proud of what I've become." Instead of fixating on our image or persona, we should accept ourselves for who we are. Building up your confidence is a journey, trust me. I'm also trying to develop my confidence and self-esteem. Try doing something productive or something that you enjoy doing. Just doing one thing could make the day count.

@amara75284 Honestly, I have no idea about that part. She looks lovely either way without filler and eyelid surgery! But it's also her choice and if she's has had the crapola bullied out of her on social media, in person, and then feels the need to post self affirmations for herself on social media I understand that.
I think having so many people comment on my appearance might make me want to make changes to if that is what she has chosen to do. Just look at how high of a pedestal social media puts people on. That pressure to be perfect for yourself and even your audience whilst dealing with your own traumas, bullying and experiences that could have lead to that choice to do surgery.
I think we could all just treat each other nicely and rather than putting one person on a pedestal over another we should realise that we're all human. We all have feelings, worries and insecurities.
We've all brushed our hair, dressed our best, probably used makeup, worked out, dieted all of the above for both health or because of our body insecurities. Male and females.
And yes you have to be careful with surgery. Especially with a huge social media following as an influencer for the message it may send.
I don't like how people feel the need to do so to feel comfortable in their own skin. But insecurity is human and we should lift each other up instead of down. So why not treat each other as such.
Just basic care, empathy, understanding and respect.

i cant stress enough how true this is. my friend was venting to me about how he looked and i tried to be nice and he said "yes buy you dont know how that feels because you're pretty" and i felt so bad and kinda mad after that because i cant see it.

The white dress is gorgeous 😍 I get it I really do. Posted a photo of my abs and my 21 inch waist. Was taken down but every body is valid. Did my first pull up today. In it for the lean gains. The thing ive learned so far is the body is a machine. People are always gonna hate on something. Try to love who you are. I ended up in hospital recently do probably too lean now and will probably have deload slightly but i know i will get there. I have anorexia and had decided to put on some lean body fat unfortunately its probably below essential levels now.

Ummm Marilyn didn’t want to be skinny, she purposely tried to have the curvy figure. Likewise, Audrey was known to strictly watch what she ate in order to be skinny. Not sure about their happiness level, but they definitely didn’t want what the other had.
