My dad used to have 2 dobermans few years back, they where so amazing, kind to their owners yet protective
Same here my dad used have 1 Doberman 25 years ago because of family problem he had to give it to someone and the dog was sad and died in few months he still feels bad for him. Right now we own a rottweiler he is amazing

We got a Dobermann four years ago. It was hard work to educate him. Now he's the best dog ever. He's nice to everybody he should be nice to. Rude to everybody he should be rude to. Doesn't take food from strangers.
But thanks god in germany it is forbidden to cut them. The tail helps him to communicate with us or other dogs und with his ears he looks so much more beautiful than without. My dog doesn't need to look dangerous. He is it.
Their beauty is incomparable!! Dobermans need to be treated with lots of love, respect and socialization.

I like how this video showed more than just protection work. There is so much more depth to this dog than an OCD guard dog. My favourite breed, without a doubt.

Great guard and watch dog!!! I’ve had a Dobermans since the age of 8 years old and I’m 45 now and can really and truly say this breed is phenomenal. Very intelligent, athletic, smart, aware of it’s surroundings and not scared of anything. One advice best kept in pairs, they can handle 4-6 people easily.
I’ve had a Doberman, a Rottweiler and a Bouvier Des Flandres. All excellent dogs. All very capable protectors. The challenge is finding excellent breeders

Good luck with your little guy,you will enjoy him very much if you raise him with you in your home.Dobies want to always be with their people,they don't like being left out alone! The only problem with Dobermans,is they don't like being alone,they stick to you like Velcro,and Pablo is a fine name! I have a male and a female,both awesome dogs!
Good luck. But please, make sure you do your researches and train him. Exercise him A LOT and make sure you don't abuse him. Neither should you spoil him. Please don't destroy the breed. Oh and yeah, don't put him chained up for non more than 24 hours. If you're gonna keep him chained, don't even bother to get the dog. Just sell it
I have had 7 Dobermans in my life, im 47, , im single, don't think I could have done it married LOL, at one point there were 3 dobes in my family for 12 gorgeous years, always 3 to 5 "mutts" who I loved with all my heart, they were all family, loved everyone of them just like my dobes, but Dobermans are special, so intelligent, if you can show them 1/4 of the love & devotion they give to you, you will find that Dobermans are way ahead of humans on a lot of what every heart is looking for, I could take my boys and girls ANYWHERE, never needed a leash, they cant speak English but by age 2 they understand it perfectly, "training" them, (I prefer the term raising them) NEVER involves physical pain or discomfort NEVER, nor the depriving of anything, or even "treats" for doing "good" #1 all they want to do is please you BECAUSE THEY LOVE YOU & only you, you are their world !!!!! (if you do it right) :) but at the same time THEY are your world too :) they are extremely protective, not aggressive at all, it breaks my heart to see prong & shock collars used on these perfect beings, that's just a testimony to "people" being well below the Doberman when it comes to what really matters, the priceless things they know by nature, WE as people have to learn, my dobes "trained me " better than I ever "trained" them. DOBERMANS RULE !!!! God created Dobermans so we could see perfection

I’m runner I had different kind of dogs, Rottweiler, boxers and others but they’re too heaviest they can’t run with me...... they are very smarts ,loyal....... just the best...... hopefully the people can discover that too.

Brains, brawn and beauty. There is no other dog that encompasses all of these attributes the way a Doberman does. There are beautiful dogs that are also strong and/or smart, and/or beautiful but no dog has the extreme intelligence and strength and beauty like a Doberman has. Their silhouette is the most recognized in the dog world. A real working line Doberman cannot be beat for the work it was designed to preform. The Doberman is the only breed that was created from the ground up for personal protection.

@@luci.i_ I think a mix is a good idea. I love the look of an American like the one I had but appreciate much of the European characteristics as well.
Excellent breed, intelligent, strong, protective never let you down and best kept in pairs. I’ve lived in a very rough area where your home is guaranteed to get robbed but by having this breed in pairs has prevented it.
We had a Doberman named Duke when I was a baby, and apparently I used to climb on him, poke him, prod him and cling to him but not once did he growl, bite or do anything, instead he was extremely protective of me
At an age of 9 i was on a outdoor playing ground. There were other kids, too. One of two Dobermann living two houses next to the playing ground came alone to the playing ground. All the other kids climbed onto elements next to them. It was funny. I love dogs more than humans since my earliest childhood. The dog came to me, i huged him, and then he walked away.

Uuhmmm. Not really. And I say that as a doberman and German shepherd owner for my whole adult life. And an unblemished record working with dogs for almost 15 years. Rottis are Rottis. Dobis are Dobis and sheps are sheps but they're still all dogs.

I have two dobies. 1 chocolate boy who is 6 years old, and a 1 year old female who is Black and Tan. She is a lot of work compared to my boy. Over the last year my boy is more protective, when he is out with me, anyone coming towards us on the same side, and he is watching every move and if they get to close, he starts barking and pulling. My female is just happy to meet everyone and say hi. She is a lot more outgoing and friendly, where as my boy is not interested in meeting others, he will stand there if I’m chatting to people he recognise on he’s walk. Lovely dogs.
