I have no idea if I made any sense at all in this reaction but I'll say that it was for sure a 5-star or an S-Tier MV and one of the most fun songs I heard with a beautiful message on top of it, so please, bare with me as I go back and forth and try not to stutter my way through this long-ass reaction, I didn't get some of the things until the 2nd watch and even then I'm sure I missed a ton!
PS - I mentioned this in the intro, I will be reacting to the album the same way I did with Maxident, I won't listen to the album until the MVs come out, to maximize the experience :)

I've been watching all your Blackpink videos since yesterday. I couldn't find Kick It, You Never Know, Bet You Wanna(ft. Cardi B) Kiss and Make Up (ft. Dua Lipa) and Hope Not. These songs are b-sides that are underrated but beautiful. I hope you check it out soon.

I'm going insane, this song is fucking unreal. Stray Kids once again proving why they are the absolute best boy group in the business!
If you notice, since the beginning, like when Hyunjins looking at the puddle... You see the sea monsters eye! You slowly start to see more of the monster throughout the video. Their monsters always have a special meaning!!! Ps... They're recruited the black suit haters... They're now STAYS!!!!! Also... That car was AIMED at Hyunjin! But he escaped the wreck... Just like he escaped that scandal.

I literally adore your breakdowns, you catch things I miss and explain things that gave me WTF moments. You made me laugh out loud at calling Hyunjin an 'exquisite bastard' (my favourite description of him) and when you threw shade at JYP for the survival show. None of us will ever forget or forgive him for putting Channie and the guys through that.
I don't care how long your reactions are, I will watch because I love that not only do you appreciate the brilliant music but the production and thought that goes into the MV and the impact of the lyrics. I think the favourite part for me is not only Bang Chan's beautiful high notes but the way he actually brought Stays in for a hug, as well as the idea that Stays are the special forces protecting and supporting StrayKids.
They are rocking this comeback in epic style and yes, absolutely exceeded expectations in every way possible. Can't wait to see you react to more of the MVs & lyric videos.

The mirror breaking kind of reminds me of the SKZ Lore from I am NOT where they broke out of the "societal norms" and chan shattered the dome by driving through it with a bus! The Guard looks like he's from the Shin Menu marching band. The cake might be a reference to Felix's cake in Mixtape: OH and The View MV where he makes a wish for SKZ to all be together and it comes true respectively - maybe a hint that theyre continuing their SKZverse Lore of them being clones and IN being the only one who knows the truth? (He's the only one who introduced himself by name in I Am Ground, maybe thats why? And even in this song, he has this unsettling smile the whole time they're dancing and he has the only actual melancholy sounding line about being the brightest star - IN was described by Chan as an oracle in the SKZ Lore-). Even the people in black hoods seem like versions of the white hooded figures from their I am NOT and Back Door videos. Theres the blue fire and the lion dancers from Thunderous as well in that same scene. maybe all the metal can type things we see flying around in the Safe scenes are references to the tin cans Lee Know was chucking at Felix in the Oddinary trailer (maybe another subtle hint that these are the characters from Oddinary and not real SKZ themselves? Or that they've somehow merged after the incidents in Maxident?) Maybe the First Class (Xmen reference like you said) might be another subtle hint that the guys are all from a different part of the multiverse - theyre lore has consistently been about clones, and multiverses, so I think it might fit? We even get to physically see the clones in the chorus dance scenes, just like in circus! (i think the moon may have the meaning of transcending just one world, but also Seungmin made a joke about wanting to go to the moon in an interview so maybe this is a shoutout to that!) Them dancing on the streets could also be a callback to when they used to make street videos for their songs back in their predebut and trainee days. The red lights in Oddinary always hinted at the Evil/Clone versions of SKZ which is interesting to see here. All the fire distortions also remind us of circus and the clones there too. There;s even a skateboard that you peek that reminds us of superboard at some point. And when Felix takes off his sunglasses and the scenes change, it could be a hint about how Felix is the conductor seeing the multiverse and clones because that was kind of his role in Oddinary - being part of both worlds. The light when they pause time is kind of like that scene in Scars when they find the light of the stars that come together and it frees the ghosts - felix even says the line "our light becomes one"!
i might be totally wrong, but that's kind of what I got from this!
Stray kids have to be one of or basically the only group I’ve heard that can do like
5 beat switches while changing the choreo 3-4 times while having the craziest transitions & mv visuals and still having fire underrated lyrics like they literally have it & can do it all
I have watched S-Class probably 25 times now, and can find AT LEAST 20 examples of easter eggs or references to other videos. and I LOVE IT. I can't help but feel like this is them acknowledging the fans opinion that SKZ is their own Genre, they don't fit a mold and they're embracing that idea fully and just making what they want to. Something about how happy they all look at the end of this video in the final dance sequence just shows that off to me.

The octopus to me:
-8 limbs that move separately, not always the same, but keep it going = each SKZ member
-1 eye looks toward where it needs to go/be = SKZ goals
The m/v is a lot, but I am here for every frame! Can wait to watch your future reactions to the rest of the m/vs and the remaining songs!
I have the same view on this octopus. Even in MV for example Seungmin and Hyunjin are just chilling during octobus have "fun" behind. Cause I don't think that this SKZ were from the bad side.
There's more than one octopus and they could also represent Stay. The eye because Stay are always watching everything the members do. Also the way the octopi took out the men in black, but kind of just watched over the members could be like some Stay are always going after SKZ haters. Uncontrollable and sometimes destructive, but always loyal. Idk.
My Seungmin shone in this MV 😍
this music video gave me whiplash so many times... but it was ICONIC ! and i absolutely love the 90s/early 2000s rap part
The blue flames(goblin) and traditional dancer are from the Thunderous mv, the chefs , 💂, and lab people are from gods menu mv, the horse are from my pace mv, the floating scuba diver and car are from maniac, the skz members clones are from All In/Case 143/Circus mv and the octopus are probably the new monster just like the sound monster from thunderous comeback trailer and heart monster from Case 143.😊
Seungmin is dancing like Groot. Wasn't there a phase of "I am Groot"? (Even the monster in both has tentacles.) So it seems to be a Marvel reference.
And: There was an elephant noise in between like in Circus
The album is FANTASTIC! I just listened to it! Definitely my favourite one so far!
I also really like that Han is wearing Ghost merch. Ghost was the first metal concert I ever went to all those years ago. Worlds colliding right here.

Once i realized that the room with the big fan and the trash flying around was the inside if the garbage truck, things have slowly started coming together haha. It's SO FULL of stuff to look at and think about. So so amazing.

I still think that 'swerving, I'm speeding' set with all the trash is a throwback to TOP. Couple of things that I noticed as well: the elephant sound in the last section is from Circus, Felix has stolen Han's fluffy hat, that switchup to the 90s rap reminders me of Changbin's Cypher switchups, and the the fire reminders me of All In and Circus.
As we all know this SKZ guys have soo much in their MV's and you really give a perspective to make it seen. I really enjoy your reactions and I really enjoy more the actual SKZ MV's after your reactions 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Good job thank you

here's some lore, they have clones! i don't know what that means, but a stay who's smarter than me might explain. i'm just over here on the floor
love love your reactions to their videos!! A couple of things I caught while watching the video...the glasses the octopus is wearing is reminiscent of the glasses Hyunjin is wearing in the maniac video. Lee Knows live videos always show one eye, like the octopus. The truck BangChan is hanging on to reminds me of the truck in kingdom wars.

I love when you react the first time all "raw" and then you go and get a little bit of info before you go deeper into it. It must take a lot of your time but it makes your reactions special, it shows how curious you are and I really like it.

Thank you for doing the breakdown for this! Glad I'm not the only one who geeked out about storyline. Also to go one step further- the trash being thrown at them is literally people doing the "trash talk". But they aren't facing it, they're standing in front of it, symbolizing that they aren't bothered by all the hate. It's past them, they're a better version of themselves.

i've been thinking about this for awhile and hope i can articulate it properly - i really appreciate how amazing your analyses are and that you are transparent when you research further. i don't want to be rude or negative, but i find that many reaction youtubers will almost verbatim state what the artist or other fans have said about the video while acting like it was their own original thought. it comes off as so disingenuous to me even though they will inevitably get so many comments about how they "perfectly understood" the videos... but i always feel your reactions are unique & deep while still often encapsulating the true meaning of the songs/videos! your breakdowns always give me new perspectives and i appreciate if you share insight you saw from other platforms as well, because it can be hard to find some of those things if you're not deep in someone's fandom. it is especially difficult to do this for new releases, so thank you for all your hard work.

In 25:46, I was immediately reminded of Victory Song, where SKZ were standing in a circle and raised their fist in the same way that’s shown in S-Class. If the people dressed in black represent Stay, then I think it’ll mean that Stay are celebrating a victory with SKZ or maybe they are celebrating a victory for themselves?
