I think my favorite part about Speedrunners is that, among the modern gaming market, its ability to really make you FEEL like you're gaming when you're GAMING gaming is unparalleled.
It really rewards timing and creative map use/memory, so when you pull off something slick you FEEL it.
I haven't seen anyone play speedrunners in years. I think the game still holds up.
One of my brothers and I used to frequently play Speedrunners before he died. Seeing this game come up always gives me a little bit of joy.
I feel like chilled had to overcome the ptsd of getting destroyed by Kryoz in tricky towers a few years ago. So kudos on that
I have to say, I *really* appreciate Cheesy's commitment to get others to watch Redline.

Chilled chokes in the first round of Tricky Towers in a stunning tribute to his beloved Mets.
God, that Survival Special. Chilled was given a table, and he tried to balance everything on the legs of an upside down chair.
Always fun to see a good Tricky Towers game. Speedrunners is new to me and still fun. kudos

This is my first time watching Chilled and friends playing Tricky Towers. I hope you guys can play a full-length game of Armello sometime.
I always love these more chill party games, like stick fight or ultimate chicken horse. No real scheming, just chaos and good vibes. I still love the social deception games too but this is always refreshing
anyone else notice that the first tricky towers game progressed evenly? 6-9-12-15 points. just found that satisfying

I got so good at speedrunner that my friends need me to play as a gold character while they are teamed lol
27:21 I'm telling you right now dude. That is not normal mode!!! What are the chances of that happening and the funniest thing about it is all 4 of them could've tied if chilled didn't fuck up.
That is definitely normal mode. Special has places you have to use bumpers on the controller to get to. Also it was easily possible to place a lot more blocks by using vine on the straight block and attaching it to the right of the L-shaped block if it was placed like first and third person did.

That one round where you threw at the end was awful, but I still applaud your skill at making a secure structure. You were really quick to respond and put blocks in the right places in the rounds at around 32:12 and 39:20. Great wins Chilled👍

tricky towers is a lot more fun to watch when the players are noobs
Chilled, the skill with among us, 1st class trouble, town of Salem, and speedrunners you have mastered your unique play style, but tricky towers...
1) fill holes or cover them when there is ivy power-up
2) build wide not tall to give yourself more options (during rush debuff) or on stages with wind
3) Use buff/debuff wisely (cement, ivy, thunder, and island are lifesavers. Bush is trash, icey blocks are cheap wins (imho), growth can help opponents, and ghosts are op)
4) vertical long 4 piece is poor game play. Except: to fill pocket holes of 2+ OR at the top of tower (No wind) of race rounds.
Opponents using growth on you or changing your block into a windmill or piano is a perfect time to use a cement powerup.
@@GrzybeK3009 if you have time to research, look into a game called aqua aqua (for ps 2). I use many of its strategies in this game. Put trouble into a cup and cover the top or use thunder to remove the ghosts. Seems basic, but if you see it in action, people will stop using debuff against you.
@@GrzybeK3009 I hate toxic gameplay, I use buffs only or thunder to clean-up errors/trouble.
@@donaldroy4717 Thanks for a recommendation, definitely will look into it more. Also in my defense, I only use toxic moves when opponents do it first because it seems fair then.
@@GrzybeK3009 was not judging those who do. I play with my non-English speaking wife and children. They will do how I lead, so that is my motivation only and I hate elitist in games also because they won't learn other ways to win. I teach students with many different learning styles. (auditory, visual, tactile, autistic, etc.) I am not disparaging to others, I want all to win in the end.
