Thank you for the great video. May I ask if MLR can detect a mediating or moderating relationship between IVs and DV? By using your example, what if Grammar (IV) has no direct effect on Writing (DV), but indirect effect via Comprehension (a mediating variable). Please help

For that, I would suggest you use path analysis--typical regression analysis is not suitable for that.
