You are an incredible person Euge, i never see a guitarist who plays in great band And teach the fans how to play your songs! i'm very sad that you left shining, And could you show us how to play the solo part of neka morgondangen please? best wishes from france
Oh, thanks! I appreciate. Neka Morgondagen's solo is played by Peter and at least at the moment I don't have time to figure it out 'cos I'm going to summer vacation :-)
Okay cool, enjoy your holidays :)
Thanks! I will :-)
i've seen more recent pictures of your pedal boards for shining, evh pedal is gone ? you've replaced it with Friedman BE-OD ?
Yes I have the Friedman BE-OD on my board now and it's the best distortion I've ever played with. I recommend! I mean the EVH is good but IMO the Friedman just nails the hot-rodded Marshall tone perfectly :-)
I love that part at 8:08. What is it from?
It’s a song by my previous band (the band I played in when I filmed the video) Shining called ”Ohm (sommar med siv)”.
12:15 Santana :3
It's actually the theme song from The Godfather movie. But quite Santana indeed ;-)
Hahaha true, I forgot that this is the theme of The Godfather ... I associated it
faster to the theme Santana Europe, anyway, good videos, you're a great
guitarist !!
Greetings from Mexico
Just curious ; ) what is your opinion on solid state amps xd i know everyone uses valves ahaha im more of a SS guy who owns a randall rg1503 (kind of what dime played :) ) because its cheaper and re-valving the amp can be quite expensive sometimes and since i dont have a band and i only play at home its kind of waste to own a valve amp since i cant push the valves and getting their tone at low volume xd
I don't really care what the "source" is but only the end result = sound. I've gotten the sound I've wanted for different situations from tube amps, from solid state amps, from digital / modeling amps etc. But in a live situation I still prefer a good old tube amp 'cos it's hard to beat the sound of a cranked British - style tube amp with a Les Paul - style guitar ;-)
yeah : ) maybe one day i will have the budget and try a tube amp ahaha which i haven´t yet unless i go to a store and try one :) thankx for the opinion euge ; )
:-D. You're welcome!
