TFC EP #14 - Fly Fishing the Chuitna River for Silver Salmon

What an epic trip! My first fly out in Alaska. I decided to pursue Silver Salmon on the fly on the Chuitna River for my first time heading west over the Cook Inlet. I flew with Alaska West Air and got to fish with my good buddy Josh Mundy who is a guide for them. Had a wicked hangover and also snapped a rod. But what an amazing day. I can't wait to do it again!

Nice strip set! I had to break the "trout set" habit when I started fishing for pike here in the Netherlands. Looks like an amazing summer.
