La Leona Waterfall - EPIC!!! Curubande, Costa Rica

- Filmed March 27th / 28th, 2021. Located at the base of the Rincon de la Vieja volcano, in this vlog we explore the amazing and epic La Leona waterfall and surrounding areas in Curubande, near Liberia. It was a jungle adventure to say the least. The Poza los Coyotes was on the list but we were beat after our hike to the Catarata La Leona. Our hotel "Cañon de la Vieja Lodge" was a great place to stay with even better food. Park entrance was about $10 per person. A must see, you have to go if you are in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Yes you need to be able to swim, or float with a life vest.

If you had torn your ACL and were having surgery just after returning to the US but could walk normally and had a brace, would you do this hike? It's the top thing on my itinerary and I want to go but am not sure its a good idea!!!! Any thoughts are helpful!!
You know I hate to break it to you but I would consider this a medium difficulty hike. In all honesty I don't think it would be wise. By the end of it even fit people said it was a good workout, plus there are places you have to crawl, unless there are alternative routes. Best would be to get in touch with the guide and ask him, I can send you his contact info if you want. Also, thank you for watching 🙂
