Old Ventura / Oxnard surf bum here and at 62 yrs old , this is just plain fun watching the very talented Blair and his cohorts tear up these shore breaks. Many thanks for the endless smiles you deliver the 3.44 million watchers. ❤
English fan here, I’m so indebted to Blair & crew for turning me onto the art of skim boarding via these gorgeous mini-movies 🙏 I’m back in the gym & my new goal is to be skim/body boarding on my 75th birthday next February !!

I've been out of the skim scene for a few years now but still find myself watching videos of Blair. I remember when his mom would be calling to enter him in a contest when he was like 13 years old. Cool to watch how good he has become. Also, nice running into you in the airport a couple months ago dude. You got a fan here.

I remember when I first started and going after waves getting my shins just obliterated. An old couple tried to tell me that it only works horizontally. I tried to explain what you do. People have never seen it done this way. Much props because it looks awesome and you do it with such style! I want to get back into it. But honestly losing the board sucks so bad 😅😅😅

I miss skimboarding been skimboarding on and off since 2005 and I remember when the first movies came out like bearded and stimulus the days. The sport has grown so much. Unfortunately where the shorebreaks here on Gold Coast, Australia aren't the best. But I still love the sport and would love to get out and have a slide again alongside surfing.
Found one of these in the holiday home garage in cornwall this morning. Watched this video and obviously headed for the beach like a pro. After 4 attempts a back injury and my soul left somewhere on the shore.
Blair I hope you know you probably have one of the best backyards in the world. Great video. That’s the best I seen Aliso in a while. Keep up the great work.

Wow. I love the content I would love to go out and skim on that beach sadly I live halfway across the country. The only area where I can skim is my backyard and delewere beach and wow is it cold. Anyway have fun Blair good luck to. Your amazing at skimborad it keep up the good work and videos.

Guys, I did this today.. It's not easy as it looks.. I thought it was easy by watching this and learning from this video but.. the hard part was try getting on the board and timing the water right as u place it.. I fail many times but at the end I had fun.. ps... I went back to water boarding many times LOL
