One of the greatest bands at the top of their game with one of their very best songs. Gill and Allen in particular setting a standard for attitude and unique that we can all look up and wonder at. This is just an absolute monster.
@@newtownaces5783 Damn sure. On the studio release, Dave Allen played bass before jumping ship and working with Shriekback. On this live version, Busta Jones played bass. There were also shows with Sara Lee playing bass in those Rockpalast sessions, though.

This guy was one of the best. He actually had electricity coming out of his speakers. Andy Gill was a high point of post punk. Go check out Gang Of Four (warn your speakers first)
@@haywoodsmith2822 If so he's playing it right! However I've gotten this impression because there used to be a live vid of Gang Of Four *with* Dave playing this track that has since been taken down. the audio sounded identical to this track so idk. maybe it's been re-uploaded somewhere
@@boldverdana87 Depending on the time of the video to which you're referring, Dave Allen returned for a short spell in 2005ish before moving to Oregon, and becoming a computer executive.
