god, I want bell of the holy night so bad. I feel like I'm the target audience, a huge scale figure collector who sets up a little vintage christmas village every holiday season. I can see myself putting her right in the center of that. but the price!!!!!! man. I'm just hoping maybe I can pick her up at a discount once she's made, but I really have no clue what the aftermarket/in-stock situation will look like for her because even if I adore her, I can't imagine paying literally resin statue price for her. usually when a figure is too expensive I just write it off, but this one really got me

Only preorders I went for this time were the Strawberry Shortcake Bustier Girl and Fischl. Several other ones that I really like but I'm trying to chill out on the preorders. I laughed when you mentioned wanting to check out the show Ruri "Space Frieren" is from because you like her design. The main reason I started watching Frieren is because I like Frieren's design. That Santa Albedo makes me wish I saw the show so that I can justify getting it. I might just start it for that very reason. I guess we disagree about support beams, but I acknowledge that I'm likely in the minority. I like them and wish more figures got them for that extra security/longevity since they don't bother me. I feel like I'm mostly likely to get the Momo 1/4 and the Noriko figure. I kinda want an Apothecary Diaries scale, and it does feel inevitable so I'll wait on that one.

The Nagisa and Karma Pop Up Parades are actually a really big deal because there were barely any figures of Nagisa previously. A Nendoroid just released of him and Karma but prior to that he had one decent prize figure and only little chibi trading figures previously. There had been a scale figure announced at one point that made it as far as painted prototype and was then never brought to market which broke everyone's hearts. I think that like the Cowboy Bebop figures these will be sought after as him and Karma will look great together. Can hardly wait to put them next to my Koro Sensei.
The ensemble stars figure surprised me. I can’t remember that series ever getting figures. Rei feels like a random choice too but I think he’s popular. Idk I’m not in that fandom anymore. It looks nice, a win for male husbando collectors

I still have more space for display cabinets (stacking Rudsta on top of eachj other). I ended up preordering the Noriko/Gunbuster figure. I'm really concerned about how she's going to turn out, but I see Noriko and I preorder. She's one of my favorite characters from one of my favorite anime. I completely agree that this pose was an odd choice for a figure... not sure what they were thinking, but she does look decent from some angles.
Are you interested in mecha figures? AmiAmi had the Gunbuster from CCSToys up for preorder. Feel like it'll go well next to the Noriko Nendoroid I also preordered. Their Lazengann (from Gurren Lagann) was amazing, as was the Gurren Lagann (which I sadly missed but they've hinted at a 2.0 version that I'll definitely pickup).

From what i remember, Martian Successor was a pretty fun anime. Ruri basically started the Rei-expy moe boom.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that Phat is off their rocker charging 10K yen more than GSC's swimsuit version of Noel when theirs just straight up looks better. I had to snipe the Toridamono Mira on amiami since they had a good deal, but Nin Nin games is becoming a more alluring seller to me recently. As for the Megumin and Yunyun, I'm in the same conundrum where I like the Yunyun more and don't feel like getting Megumin since I got the eStream one and that's the best one. Then I cave and get the Megumin version too like I did with the chongsam figures. Idk with these ones. Fischl's release gives me hope for Eula as that figure is gonna be Mona levels of must have for people, but Fischl is nice too. Idg the thigh thing. Call me crazy, but I doubt the other 2 Azur Lane girls will be cast off. I could see Enterprise maybe, but I don't see how they'd do that for Prinz with her outfit? Idk, sleep deprived thoughts after a day of editing. May you have a good 2024 as it is filled with more of your videos and that you come to terms with handling Artorias!
I think I mentioned GSC Noel at one point in the recording but cut it since the video was so long already. In my eyes its the better figure for sure, but a totally different take on the character so I understand if people would still want Phat's more. Not worth it, but I get it. I still don't have a megumin figure, but estream is cooking a new one up I think that I like. Had a bunch of stars around her I believe from the spinoff show. Prob gonna be more than I want to pay though. I think Apex would be insane to not make the other girls castoff at this point, but part of me thinks it would be kinda funny if they ditched the idea right after Baltimore. Get everyone hyped and then just never do it again lol
On the Chainsawman double fig, the blood on the chainsaws and blades come from their arms being sliced when the weapons come out. Hence there's no blood anywhere else on the scene, they're just starting up. It probably would have been cooler with splashes, but also probably mode complex and even more expensive. Freeing's Hajime is definitely a nice bunny girl, even though I'm not into them. Probably the best I saw them create.
Yeah I thought about that while editing. Summoning the chainsaws and whatnot rips the skin and shows blood, though even that would theoretically end up on their clothes a bit lol. I'm just being nitpicky due to the pricetag
@@ZuccoFigures No, you're right, CSM is never that clean. And nitpicking when giving away 70.000¥ is largely justified. I guess the price is due to 2 characters being present, but the overwhelming smoke, which is not really that beautiful or attractive to the eye doesn't help.
I totally agree with that Artorias figure. He looks cool, but, that price is INSANE. There are figures that look half as good that are like less than $50 so idk what they were thinking.

As much as i love Mato Seihei no Slave and i do want that Kyouka Uzen, that price, while i do think its more justify because of the base, makes it a skip since i can guarantee there will be more from the series and for a much better price.
Not a fan of Overlord but I do like Clementine's design and also nice to see a character that isn't Albedo. Great sculpt with the tone and tummy. Definitely overpriced but she's going on my bin list.

Christmas Figures are tough. I agree that it's hard to enjoy them throughout the year unlike Halloween figures that have year round charm for whatever reason.
Nadesico is a great hybrid of mecha and comedy. It definitely stands out more if you have seen one or all of Macross, Gundam, and Evangelion but still stands on its own well enough. Ruri was basically the first moe Rei clone and I still like her.

PO my artorias it was a though decision but got it for 520€ (without shipping). Prices in french shop are crazy :'( Saw him listed about 1250€, for a 1/6 scale it's insane. Hope Eileen will be a lot cheaper because it's a hard pass for me at that price. About the Elden ring one, with the popularity of the game I'm fearing the worst (but Gecco is so slow, maybe the market will have time to shift and be a lot more affordable than now xO). I need to be a lot more cautious with high price tag pvc figures because polystone statue market is just dying right now and maybe the artorias will be the first Gecco to loose value, we can't tell anymore. I think Eileen will be cheaper but not drastically. My prediction is closer to 70000 but I guess we'll see. Tbh I think they are trying TOO hard to make the "ultimate Artorias" when everyone has been pretty damn satisfied with their previous souls figures so I wouldn't mind them taking a small step back in the production if that helps the prices. If the Raging Wolf is 90000 yen or whatever I'll likely pass. He's a cool dude but didn't leave much of an impact on me. I know a Ranni figure is in the works by Mamegyorai which could be something I pick up depending on the price, though if Gecco really wants money they should prob just announce Malenia already lol. Radahn would also be sick but that guy would likely be 1500 bucks or something at this rate
My personal opinion is that she MIGHT drop, but her figure is pretty cheap already(if you are from the United States at least) and Persona figures have a tendency to become sought after. I'd say if you really like the figure and you are new to the hobby, don't stress it and preorder her.

Have a part of the base come up to support the figure. These companies are very bad with design, that FuRyu China dress Albedo is probably the worst designed, because they could have easily had part of the base come up to key into the wings, just terrible design.
Sculpting a full set of armor rusted due to the passage of time is gonna be much more expensive than a typical anime figure, but even so 98000 is just outrageous. Part of it is also likely the license and how popular the franchise is

I ended up preordering the Noriko/Gunbuster figure. I'm really concerned about how she's going to turn out, but I see Noriko and I preorder. She's one of my favorite characters from one of my favorite anime. I completely agree that this pose was an odd choice for a figure... not sure what they were thinking, but she does look decent from some angles.
Liking Gunbuster/Noriko just means you have good taste so I can understand preordering. Let's just hope she turns out good
Are you interested in mecha figures? AmiAmi had the Gunbuster from CCSToys up for preorder. Feel like it'll go well next to the Noriko Nendoroid I also preordered. Their Lazengann (from Gurren Lagann) was amazing, as was the Gurren Lagann (which I sadly missed but they've hinted at a 2.0 version that I'll definitely pickup).
I like mecha but never got super into it as far as collecting goes. that Gunbuster is honestly sick but it's just not in the cards right now for me. I kinda just leaned super heavy into anime scale figures for youtube but I dabble in other types of figures when I can

Finally finished watching this video (started last Monday). I didn't like the new Gojo scale figure, to me it looked like a re-sculpted version of the F:Nex one. If I wanted a prison realm Gojo, I'd stick to the Jump Out Heroes Extra one (which I have).
Hell yeah! I'm a fan of "Dark Souls 1: Prepare to Die Edition" of Knight Artorias and the lores around it. Can't wait to get this guy as a collectible.

I had to snipe the Toridamono Mira on amiami since they had a good deal, but Nin Nin games is becoming a more alluring seller to me recently. As for the Megumin and Yunyun, I'm in the same conundrum where I like the Yunyun more and don't feel like getting Megumin since I got the eStream one and that's the best one. Then I cave and get the Megumin version too like I did with the chongsam figures. Idk with these ones. Fischl's release gives me hope for Eula as that figure is gonna be Mona levels of must have for people, but Fischl is nice too. Idg the thigh thing. Call me crazy, but I doubt the other 2 Azur Lane girls will be cast off. I could see Enterprise maybe, but I don't see how they'd do that for Prinz with her outfit? Idk, sleep deprived thoughts after a day of editing.

I think I mentioned GSC Noel at one point in the recording but cut it since the video was so long already. In my eyes its the better figure for sure, but a totally different take on the character so I understand if people would still want Phat's more. Not worth it, but I get it.
I still don't have a megumin figure, but estream is cooking a new one up I think that I like. Had a bunch of stars around her I believe from the spinoff show. Prob gonna be more than I want to pay though.

On the Chainsawman double fig, the blood on the chainsaws and blades come from their arms being sliced when the weapons come out. Hence there's no blood anywhere else on the scene, they're just starting up. It probably would have been cooler with splashes, but also probably mode complex and even more expensive.
Freeing's Hajime is definitely a nice bunny girl, even though I'm not into them. Probably the best I saw them create.
Yeah I thought about that while editing. Summoning the chainsaws and whatnot rips the skin and shows blood, though even that would theoretically end up on their clothes a bit lol. I'm just being nitpicky due to the pricetag
@@ZuccoFigures No, you're right, CSM is never that clean. And nitpicking when giving away 70.000¥ is largely justified. I guess the price is due to 2 characters being present, but the overwhelming smoke, which is not really that beautiful or attractive to the eye doesn't help.
I totally agree with that Artorias figure. He looks cool, but, that price is INSANE. There are figures that look half as good that are like less than $50 so idk what they were thinking.

I was so excited for an Albedo figure made by Alter, but I dont celebrate Christmas and even if I did I would still never buy a figure that looks out of place for most of the year.

Nadesico is a great hybrid of mecha and comedy. It definitely stands out more if you have seen one or all of Macross, Gundam, and Evangelion but still stands on its own well enough. Ruri was basically the first moe Rei clone and I still like her.

Hope Eileen will be a lot cheaper because it's a hard pass for me at that price. About the Elden ring one, with the popularity of the game I'm fearing the worst (but Gecco is so slow, maybe the market will have time to shift and be a lot more affordable than now xO).

I think Eileen will be cheaper but not drastically. My prediction is closer to 70000 but I guess we'll see. Tbh I think they are trying TOO hard to make the "ultimate Artorias" when everyone has been pretty damn satisfied with their previous souls figures so I wouldn't mind them taking a small step back in the production if that helps the prices.
If the Raging Wolf is 90000 yen or whatever I'll likely pass. He's a cool dude but didn't leave much of an impact on me. I know a Ranni figure is in the works by Mamegyorai which could be something I pick up depending on the price, though if Gecco really wants money they should prob just announce Malenia already lol. My personal opinion is that she MIGHT drop, but her figure is pretty cheap already(if you are from the United States at least) and Persona figures have a tendency to become sought after. I'd say if you really like the figure and you are new to the hobby, don't stress it and preorder her.

Also want to add that the Charybdis... sudden realization that shawl is real fabric, which just makes me think it must be a pain to keep clean. Have a part of the base come up to support the figure. These companies are very bad with design, that FuRyu China dress Albedo is probably the worst designed, because they could have easily had part of the base come up to key into the wings, just terrible design.

Sculpting a full set of armor rusted due to the passage of time is gonna be much more expensive than a typical anime figure, but even so 98000 is just outrageous. Part of it is also likely the license and how popular the franchise is

I bought the first Azur Lane racing figure before anyone knew it was cast off and I didn't even know what azur lane was. she's feels amazing, best made figure I own now but her pegs are a bastard to fit in right. I'm not cast offing her, I love her top its something I would wear
