In a crime so perfectly executed, it’s almost impossible to spot. Thieves are making off with high-end cars and bakkies while their owners blissfully go about their business. Keyless entry cars are hot targets for criminal networks that have evolved globally. In South Africa, car thieves are swapping guns and violence for smart technology that enables them to steal cars without breaking a sweat, or physically confronting owners. And local crime networks are making up for lost time. Carte Blanche exposes the ease of high-tech car thefts that has manufacturers heading back to the drawing board to reverse engineer solutions.

That's why I like old technology !
The people who are hired to put these systems together get retrenched and turn to crime. There's no way to solve this problem, whatever upgrades they do, the folks hired to install will share with the syndicates once they need money.
Best not to have keyless. Usually a basic model of a car still has the old system of a turn key start with a physical key and a remote keyfob that has to be pressed to open or close doors, so signal is only on for a few seconds (It is still the better system for security, I have that). If you have to buy keyless, then get a secondary immobiliser fitted called a 'ghost immobiliser', where you have to press at least four of your car switches in a specific sequence to be able to start the car.
After you lock your car Instantly Simply wrap key fob with Atleast 2 lays of FOIL tight, it won't be Hacked in Uk they do that specially on car Parking shopping Malls🤞🤞👏👏👏👏👏😃😃
Where do you get ab RF bag or pouch, please??
Until manufacturers get together and figure out a solution, car owners can proactively start adding layers of security to slow down thieves such as putting keys in an RFID key fob pouch or box, using steering wheel lock and OBD2 port lock.
Simple solution carry your keys in a RF bag.
What's that?
