What do you think the politicians should do? Raise our taxes and take our money to help the government sponges that refuse to help themselves? I don't think so.
Get a job or go to Mexico and camp on the beaches.
Only people we should be helping are the children, vets, and retired homeless who aren't drug addicts.

Sadly, unsheltered street homeless are fentanyl addicts, and they will destroy any housing we put them in because they are not mentally capable of living in any organized manner. They smoke fentanyl pills popular blues that contain fentanyl, rat poison, horse tranquilizer, sedative benzo, nitazene chemicals, and such. P2P based meth is laced with fentanyl and wasp dope. All street drugs including street marijuana are laced with fentanyl nowadays. Synthetic street drugs are extremely destructive and destroy humans mentally and physically beyond the point of repair very quickly. They reject help, shelters, rehab, treatment programs, and such. They gradually destroy everything around themselves and smoke fentanyl all day long. Where I live, they break into unoccupied houses and destroy them by pulling wall wires out and cutting metal pipes just to sell for fentanyl pills. Also, they destroy street lights by pulling wires out just to sell copper for fentanyl.

One homeless veteran actually told me that he'd rather live on the streets than spend his whole check to pay for a place to stay. They gradually destroy everything around themselves and smoke fentanyl all day long. love your neighbor? they're not your neighbors, they're dangerous transient trespassers who will destroy your life and offer nothing more than an apology, if that.
literally the only recourse other than putting up with it or moving is to make sure no one is inside and finish the job yourself. the house is condemned as it is, and will never be rebuilt if insurance hasn't already begun to fix it.
