Today is the day we take control of the town of Seversk. Your objective is to eliminate all the tanks units defending the town, and to cross the river to capture the city hall. You will get some assistance from nearby Stuka and Bf 110 units.
In order to successfully complete this mission, you must reach the city hall and destroy the remaining vehicles.

Yep, this a big flaw of this mission. The other tanks of the platoon don't cross the river and you finish alone!

The radioactive caution stickers on the Pz III gauges bug me so much...they are on a museum example and were only put there postwar because the markings are covered in radium for glow in the dark abilities. Those stickers weren't there in 1942! lol
River boats don't shoot back? I believe they had T-34 turrets which would be a challenge for a Panzer III. Other than that - tour the magnificent Russian steps and enjoy the breath-taking panoramic view from the quiet comfort of your carriage. . .
Old_Guard the side armor on those boats was like 10mm though, not exactly tank like. Would just have to shoot under the turrets and detonate the ammo

Yea. T-34 turrets, 76 mm. Like 300 m distance: it's one-shot kill Pz III from any aspect, even the latest one, with 50 mm armor.

A good well done multiplayer coop ww2 Tank simulator is something I have always wanted. A potentially good ww2 tank simulator. The only one out their at the moment that should be comparable to this is steel beasts pro PE and it's setting is modern.
Tank Crew module available for early access. Only $69.99 US, that's a whopping $10 off the $79.99 standard price!! Honestly I was floored by the cost of this module but also very curious. Because with a price like this it could be a fully fleshed out simulator. I wanted to pose the following questions:
a) Will the campaign be coop. I don't want another dry tank sim that gives very little reward. I don't particular want the standard sim canned missions, which have no soul, low production value that any mission builder player could make and don't really make you value your crew members either.
b) Will infantry and other support vehicles are or will be depicted. For example will the campaign have us run up against AT gun belts. AI assault guns and tank destroyers such as the STUG III G or su76. Infantry that unload from half tracks to support your advance and call targets. Sit on the back of your T34s. Minefields. You know. A simulation of what it would really be like to be in a tank in ww2. To know your crew members and possibly even some of your supporting infantry leaders. Not just a simple tank vs tank gunnery range simulator. Unlike in the air, the ground is probably a bit more complicated in terms of crew and supporting elements like infantry interaction as well as the variation of assets possible for a ground simulator.
c) I know maps will be improved. But with most games I notice that the only terrain variation are in very long slow gradients? So basically you never get sharp ridges or micro terrain features to hide in. The maps are more drawn as over views of massive distance to both save computing power and the map makers time.
d) Are crew models inside the tanks intended to be made?
Destraex Destraex: do you know Steel Fury? It is older and not so spectacular, but it is a very good WWII tank simulator and there are lot of people who are still doing mods
I know of it and certainly looked at it as an equivalent of this. However it is single player only. The only real alternative to this videos game is steel beasts pro or which is multiplayer and has infantry. Unlike this game unfortunately.
Destraex Destraex: Yes, SF it's just for single player, that's true. Let's hope that it evolves and develop into something similar to SB in WWII.

if you are talking about the t70 at the beggining, they are two crew members turret, what significates what they work in a cramped space, and they era in movemente so its more dificult, just think to charge a gun breach in movement at 30 or 40 km per hour or aim and shoot in movement

I know it is 7 months since you posted this video, but I could not tell what kind of tanks you were destroying at the beginning. Were those Lend-Lease M3 Lee's, or T-70 light tanks?

Танк, судя по всему, Л-ка или М-ка, без обвеса, ствол КвК 5 см, броня 50 мм. Такая "тройка", в теории, могла разобрать Т-70-х, как в ролике, действуя на опережение и используя преимущество в обзоре.
Но когда чувак выехал на мост, встал и начал клепать БМ-ки, имея слева по борту, метрах в 500, потенциальную опасность в виде двух 76 мм стволов - это полный бред, прежде всего в тактике боя. Один выстрел (один, Карл!!!) с 76 мм, даже фугасом, по любой "тройке" с расстояния 300-500 метров - это уверенный ваншот.
О чём я и говорю: если бы в катерах сидели люди, или если бы боты наглухо не протупили - танк даже на мост не заехал бы.
@@NikeSXT у этих танков башня крутилась по 24 градуса за секунду. Это поворот на 45 градусов должен происходить на 2.2 секунды. А плюс вес, плюс инерция. А подъёмный механизм орудия? Это вообще отдельная вещь. Делалось так: сначала поворачивают башню, а потом поднимают или опускают орудие и уже потом докручивают башней на цель. А тут башня крутиться мгновенно как будто ей крутит геймер мышкой )) В этом и тупость, вот поэтому всех и перестрелял. В реальности он бы может и уничтожил бы все эти танки, но упарился бы и сошло бы 7 потов пока бы он на всех навёлся, прицелился и произвёл огонь.
Не придирайся, это же для детей.

Is it possible to shoot the Co-axial and Drivers Light Machine Guns? Would 7.92mm Machine guns destroy simple trucks?
Obviously not as well as the III-J's 50mm main gun, but why waste that ammo when you have harder targets to engage?
Not possible at the moment since it's like a test version of the official game. Its early alpha access is scheduled this year and full release next year.
He likely switched to HE for the light vehicles. You start with 42 rounds of HE and 42 rounds of AP.

The Panzer III was no match for the t34.It could only penetrate its frontal armour at very clase distance , some 50 meters, while the t34 could easily destroy it at some 100 meters

The guns on those armored patrol boats looked like 5 inchers....don't believe that Panzer III would have gotten off that many shots without that 5 melting him down.

I always wonder how a tankdriver can move a tank looking through this small slot.
The driver has a limited view as you can see, but driving a tank in those times was a cooperation between the driver and the tank commander (he can see throug the cupola wich is the small "circle" on top of the turret"

Azarius Maxwell The ground vehicle physics are worse here than in WT. Aircraft physics and realisticness is somewhat better. I mean, since WT is an arcade game, you can fight in an A6M5 zero against Hurricanes, although they newer met each other in WW2. You won't find this in Il-2 BoS or CoD (Cliffs of Dover), etc. This way, this game is historically more accurate.
Azarius Maxwell In my opinion, both games are great, but they are different kind. WT is an arcade game and Il-2 BoS is a flight simulator, so we shouldn't really try to compare them. Good thing in WT is that it's free, too.

Очень странная игра, она стоит у нас сейчас 5000 т р. И в нее играть против ботов и они не атакуют, но это слишком глупо тратить такие деньги и не интересно их расстреливать как на стрельбище. Не понятно , почему боты не агрится ?
