I'm not sure it works that way, but in the deep mining, when you get the popup from the Lady Boyd you, there's an "x" in the right corner. You click on the "Conclude Research" button, maybe the "x" lets you continue playing?

Also while I am on an edit, ignore sooks about loans, they're part of the game and the time to harvest oil that you lose by skimping at the start and losing the ability to get out more oil actually stunts you more than helps regardless of the minor interest payment on the loan.

Just watched the first of Blitz's videos on this new DLC and I think I see what you're doing wrong. Just lay off the fast-forward button. You miss so much by just sitting there watching stuff happen as months fly by. Take a step back and go let it go at normal speed and you'll notice how much better decisions you can make.

Like I believe it was the last video he took out a loan and he still had most of his starting 2k to work with. Like play how you want but my opinion is that it isn't optimal game play which while that doesn't matter to everyone Drae is hoping for prefect runs sometimes so why not give suggestions so he can find ways to improve.

I don't know if the water really boost your pipes, I think that is a mechanic of the gas, the water only make it cheaper.
Cheaper to build new pipes for sure, but I don't think it helps with upgrading.
