Glad you enjoyed Desenzano and surrounding areas, The Park Hotel is gorgeous and we stayed there 2019, we are staying in Antica Dimora Desenzano 24th aug for week with trip into Verona for overnight with concert Vivaldi in Verona theatre, Lake Garda is a gem, and unspoiled with mass tourism, although can be busy high seasons, and yet not a football top or drunks to be seen. Try lake Maggiore or Como if you enjoyed Lake Garda
That is our fourth stay at The Park, it is so well located, and suits us perfectly. We probably would enjoy the other Lakes too but I would imagine they are a much longer transfer from Verona.

We were on cruises when you were on not seen any P&O recently we now go saga….. mick

Not at the moment, it’s all bit of a hassle for us now, although I won’t commit to saying we will never cruise again. 🙂
