Definitely enjoying the Starfall and Titan story lines much more than victory road, and victory road is actually super enjoyable so I'm praising everything in this game much more than any other pokemon game I've played
It's a great game but the grafics suck

Team Star snuck up on me to become one my favourite teams. Nice change of pace from wanting to flood the earth or whatever.
Well yeah because Star wasn't a villain at all. Even Yell at least made themselves a public nuisance and tried to annoy people into dropping out of the league circuit. But Star never does anything bad the entire game.
Ignoring some optimization issues, Scarlet and Violet so far is one of the best Pokémon games I’ve played in a while

This music took the spot of the Sinnoh Battle Frontier Brain Battle Theme as much all time favorite battle theme and Team Star is officially the best thing to ever happen to Video Game Music HISTORY!
Just everything about Theme. Holy shit, where do I even start. The epic badass intro was definitely made for the squad boss theme first and they built upon the grunt and base raid themes from there. Then the rock and roll chanting, then the most teased bit from the trailers and all of the sudden BAM! THE FREAKIN ASCENDENCE TO THE SYNTHESIZER AND VAPORWAVE THAT JUST SCREAMS 80'S AND 90'S! Then it CYCLES back to the heavily teased bit from the trailer which we thought would be the main climax of their Battle theme. But then it suddenly gets quite, the calm before the storm. But then it slowly starts to accelerate into the climax with the heavy duty Punk and Ska Electric guitar shredding but it still hasn't just quite hit "that" point yet. But then all of the sudden IT FREAKIN SENDS INTO FREAKIN CLICHÉ CORNER FULL THROTTLE AND THEN IT MAXES OUT REDLINE SPEED ROCKETING DOWN THE FREAKIN AUTOBON!!!
Like holy shit dude, this theme H A S I T A L L! AND HAS IT D O W N S H I F T I N G AND THEN UPSHIFTING INTO ULTRA HIGH GEAR AND FULL SENDS INTI MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE!
And then it perfectly loops right back around with that final spin out shrieking tires and doing donuts until it finally parks it right over the finish line as the crowd goes wild.
OH they ABSOLUTELY knew what they were doing when they made this theme and were coming up with Team Star period. Especially it's Characters and their teams structure as to how they work together and alongside each other litterally like a well oiled machine and with the speed, precision, and handling of a race car all the while being as closely knit and in synch with each other in perfect harmony as a pro Pit Crew working as unseeably quick and diligent and flawlessly.
Like I haven't even gotten to the first Squad Battle yet but DAAAAAAAMN, I feel SO BAD for beating them. I pretty much don't want to simply because OH MY ARCEUS SWEET, MOTHER OF XERNEAS, PRAISE SOLGALEO I WANT THEM TO WIN SOOOO BAAAAAAD!
But sadly, there can only be one winner in this race, and it's going to be me. And the thought of absolutely mercilessly leaving their team in shambles but by bit just utterly dismantling their team with each Squad I take down as all the grunts are left with nowhere to go and no one to look up to and their leaders left in sheer disbelief and self loathing utterly crushed by the fact that we beat them and they let their entire team, all those grunts in particular who were counting on them to defend their titled and crew, that they let them all down. They failed their team, their title, their Pokémon, and their ONE and only place that they belonged. Because at the end are they bad guys? No, their just a bunch of hurt people who hurt other people. They group together in numbers not just to be intimidating but to feel safe and have each other's backs no matter what. And all of the sudden one day you just come in through their front door and start decimating every single last one of them and their Pokémon, leaving their squad leaders for last as you eventually beat them to as they were all desperately looking up to their leaders for guidance, they don't know what to do and forfeit their roles.
Because in the end, Team Star is NOT an Evil Organization. They don't have any real harmful goals or world controlling or destroying master plans or evil ambitions. They're just in it for the ride. And yes, that means they do occasionally take it too far. But the amount of sheer ferocity of you ALONE brings even their most obscene amounts of overkill joyriding to screeching halt. Your a complete and total utter absolute total buzzkill that just crashed their party, crushed their teams and leaders and Pokémon, and then just proceeded to run it through back and forth, back and forth, over and over and over again until there's nothing left but a faded skid mark of a fallen star that never even got to shine. You monster, you brute, you jerk, you buzzkill, you bully. You just out bullied the gang of bullies from their own turf and it's not like tour ever gonna do anything with it. You didn't do this for even your gain. You did it solely for the purpose of taking everything that they had away from them, and destroying it. You came, you saw, you conquered. And then you just left them there scartered about on the floor as they look up in horror and sheer disbelief that you just did that to them as if it were nothing. Because it meant everything to them. It meant LOSING EVERYTHING that ever mattered to them.
Because in the end Team Star is really just that, a Team. A team of bullies who were bullied, a team of misfits who never found a place where they belonged, they never had a chance to prove what they could do, they were the epidimy of misguided youth on the very cusp of maturity and they fell to the wayside as Team Star. A team that you completley shattered into stardust and sucked the sparkle of joy right out of like draining every last ray of starlight from them.
Now you see why I would like to join them. But thankfully, I think there's someone who is more than capable of taking all those Team Star members into their care and help them fully realize the true and ideal goodness and power that's in all of them.
After all, it's his responsibility. He said so himself. He takes complete and total ownership, admission, and blame of any mistakes or failures that happen up his work. And that means being there for ALL of the students. No potential star to be left behind.

this tune, in a more sinister piano version, was used for the Pokemon Twitch Cup 3 in one of the story battles, and one of the participants suffered a team wipe at the hands of an unusually OP Chatot.
the melody at 1:55 perfectly portrays this player giving his best, even though he knew he was doomed.
The part at 2:57 is actually so iconic from this OST after the Professor Sada/Turo Battle OST

I hear vs. Orcan and Skullian from sonic colors and I love it. The soundtrack of that game was 🔥 but that boss soundtrack specifically was the best for me.

i will say this, the issues that these games have been having, they did one thing good so far. these songs are freaking awesome and add so much more to pokemon then the usual type of songs we hear during fights.
The only thing I don't like is that they took the area/province theme and remixed it for the wild pokémon music. I would've prefered if they used the Poco Path wild music for the whole game. It's a shame we don't get to hear it more.

This game gave us so many good themes, not a single one disapp… oh wait they totally downgraded the gym leader theme compared to the last one but besides that sad note everything else is just gold from the wild Pokémon theme to the final boss theme

This is a rare miss for me. It's just so "clean" compared to the original, where it sounds like the grunts are on a stage next to you shredding while you fight.
And like Big Shot you can really feel where background voices are left out and it leaves a hole in the sound design.
