Aizen‘s arrancars were a formidable counter measure against the wandenreich. He knew full well that the Quincies would return one day to wreck seireitei. With his level of planning, anything seems possible. With Urahara in charge of division 12 and not Mayuri. A genuine cooperation was definitely possible. He would have been a hero to soul society. Maybe he’d have a happier life as a soul reaper.

And his name aizen from japanese god aizen myo and a god in hinduism raga raja and lord shiva to some extent+ he even symbolises lucifer a lot he is just so much effort put into character from kubo. Such an insane villain and character in terms of writing.
For Aizen to not know about the Soul King's true condition, then Aizen's intellect would, without a doubt, have to be reduced. There is absolutely no way that someone with that kind of intellect wouldn't start to connect the dots and understand what is really happening. And since reducing someone's intellect for an alternative scenario is a bit of a nuisance, then probably Aizen would just accept reality the same way Kisuke did
Remember after aizen killed central 46 he had complete access to the archives of knowledge accumulated over the 1000 years of the soul societys existence that was in central 46. Surely he either read about it directly or deduced it indirectly.
I still think he would eventually know about the Soul King. One way or another. Also, someone like that is, usually, naturally very curious. I'm guessing something would happen that would peak his curiosity and he would either go down that rabbit hole instantly or slowly, overtime. I also suspect that the sole presence of someone like Kisuke would eventually force Aizen to investigate him. To me, Kisuke is the most suspectful and mysterious guy in the series. Aizen would easily notice this and start to investigate Kisuke and probably find out about his hogyoku research and a whole bunch of other shady stuff
Yeah honestly the only way this works is if Aizen accepts things, more or less. Maybe he tries to make the best of the world within the limits of law and order. Elder captains know exactly how flawed SS is and they make it work. Yamamoto for example knew, the whole time, all of them were going to hell.

What do you mean what if? Aizen was a good guy, the soul society was horribly corrupt to the core. He spared the captains lives during the battle of karakura town and only sought to kill central 46 (the ones giving corrupt orders), yammamoto and intended to replace the Soul King (who by the way was mutiliated by the shinigami out of their own fear of losing power; EVEN AFTER everything he did for the worlds) He was completely ruthless in doing so, killed innocents along the way, both necessary or not necessary to his plans, but his plans were to eliminate a thousand year corrupt and genocidal system and replace it with his own. Soul society said "we will kill all quincies", the wadenreich said "we will kill all shinigami", hollows by their very nature would 'kill all humans' if they could, aizen never said he would kill all humans, hollows, shinigami or quincy. Hes the only 'antagonist' faction in the entire series that did not pledge complete genocide of another group.
If he was truly good and selfless he would want to end the Soul King's suffering out of true moral revulsion, not because it was an omnipotent being subjugated by the comparatively weak ancestors. And quite a few others would still be alive and several more have their status in Gotei 13's machine. Though honestly I can still see Yoruichi just go off to live her own free life in the human world. She never really liked her status or the paranoid toxic environment of the nobility.
I’m not sure - a big reason for Orihime’s brother becoming a hollow was her neglecting his afterlife care and moving on from his death, which was largely Ichigo’s fault

Aizens shikai and bankai would 100% be different since deception was a core part of his personality or even essence of who he is. So if he was good (or not deceptive, in other words), his powers would manifest differently
I'd like to point out a few things and speculate more about the events narrated in the video, would love to keep on discussing on this topic though, so if anyone thinks I'm talking out of my ahh feel free to call me out: 1 - Urahara would probably never join Squad 0. Due to Kubo confirming there can only be up to 5 members at any given time, and Kirio had already being promoted. Unless they removed one of their members in order to fit Urahara, I don't think this would be possible. Btw, I saw this information on Mr.Tommo's channel. He reviews some information thrown on the Klub outside site where Kubo answers Bleach related questions to the fans, and this was one of them. 2 - Aizen could join the 12th squad after Urahara founds the research and development team. Ichigo points out that he felt alone, maybe for being so above everyone else, but he recognizes Urahara as superior to him when it comes to intelect, he might've been tempted to join Squad 12 to in order to stay close to someone who rivals him in that way. 3 - We may see a either a lot of special or sub lieutenants across all divisions or a lot of retirements of the captains due to Aizen not being bad. The vizards are all still around and well, and a lot of divisions would be significantly stronger due to multiple captain class characters being present at one given time (assuming they all remain on the divisions we see them at): Yoruichi and Soi Fon; Rose and Gin; Shinji and Aizen; Love and Komamura; Kensei and Tosen; Isshin and Toshiro; Urahara and Mayuri. We would see a very powerfull Gotei 13 when all of these characters are still around. 4 - If we stick to only 5 people as the war potencials, Aizen might've still make it. Even as a shinigami he was way stronger than everyone other than Yamamoto, not to say his zanpakuto alone could give the quincies a lot of trouble. Maybe just switch Ichigo to Yamamoto as a war potencial and there you have it.
I feel like Rukia would have remained a lower ranking member of squad 13 due to Byakuya's influence, his mind on the matter wouldn't have been changed without Ichigo
The thing with Ichigo is that it was Yhwach who forced things to make him born, it was stated by the quincy King himself. He would've born under a different circumstances but it was the power of The Almighty what arranged the events for Ichigo to be conceived.
A Zanpakutou reflects the personality of its wielder. Aizen being manipulative and cabal, Kyouka Suigetsus power is interfering the awareness of reality of its opponent. I wonder what Aizens Zanpakutou would have been like, if he had been a good guy.
I think a good "what if" is if Aizen simply defected from the Soul Society shortly after learning about the Soul King. Perhaps instead of gaining a savior/god complex, you could turn him into someone obsessed with trying to see if the nature of the world could only exist via the Soul King and how he could go about changing it so they aren't shackled to a single being's existence. Like if there was some other way to change the world, he would try rather than accept reality but without the megalomaniac twist. He would still make experiments with Hollows and such but have the intent and quite possibly the emotion behind his actions change. That way, its still very much possible for some of the plot beats in the original story to happen but for different reasons. There would be a lot of intricate details needed in order to have that sort of "what if" make sense, especially on playing with Aizen's character without truly changing it much but it would be a pretty unique scenario to have Aizen act as an antagonist or anti-hero rather than a straight up villain. I'm sure someone could make it happen. I would try to but I suck at writing so I'll leave that to the more creative people in the community if it hasn't already been done
You didn't mention that Yamamoto's soft side absence would've impacted the new quincy war on this theory. Yhwach mentioned that he lost because he's not the same person he was 1000 years ago. Of course, he tasted peace and had nothing to worry about, but Yhwach mentioned his intention of not letting a human heal his arm was a stupid decision and it could've helped a bit or even a tiny bit. Can't get it out of my mind, but that Yamamoto might have a higher chance at winning against Yhwach because he won't grieve over his lieutenant at a time of war and might think of how they got his bankai instead, and might also obliterate soul society with his bankai once and for all and bring out the old ruthless founder of gotei.
Conversely, you also have the Gotei 13 at it's strongest PERIOD. Try having 21-27 Captains and captain level soul reapers: 1. Yamamoto 2. Sasakibe 3. Yoruichi 4. Soifon 5. Rojuro Otoribashi 6. Gin Ichimaru 7. Shinji Hirako 8. Sosuke Aizen 9. Byakuya Kuchiki 10. Renji Abarai 11. Love Aikawa 12. Sajin Komamura 13. Shunsui Kyoraku 14. Kensei Mugurama 15. Tosen Kaname 16. Isshin Shiba 17. Toshiro Hitsugaya 18. Kenpachi Zaraki 19. Urahara Kisuke 20. Mayuri Kurotsuchi 21. Jushiro Ukitake And potentially: 22. Lisa Yadomaru 23. Rangiku Matsumoto 24. Ikakku Madarame 25. Rukia Kuchiki 26. Kaien Shiba 27. Miyako Shiba. Only hope for Wandenreich is to wait until Yhwach regains the Almighty, throw every sternritter at the Gotei in the initial invasion; and hope the Antithesis and/or the Balance and/or the Almighty work against Kyoka Suigetsu. I suspect that the Almighty didn't save Yhwach in canon because Aizen had already put him under his spell when he talked wih Yhwach and/ior Aizen's reiatsu being just that storng so the Almighty couldn't save Yhwach.
I would interested in seeing him being a "good villain" and by that i mean instead of being cruel, actually trying to recruit people. Convince Gin to actually work for him, take Momo with him, actually care about the Arrancar but still commiting the betrayal and several crimes with his view on killing the soul king also being a view on believing he's actually changing things for the better if he becomes a God. Eventually he would actually see Ichigo as high value asset as he has the potential to be the God he imagines making him conflicted because he always imagined himself in said position.
There would be a gigantic difference in leadership. There is a big chance Aizen may never have been squad 5 captain as Shinji and others never would have hollowfied. Kisuke would likely have still be running squad 12, Yoruichi running squad 2, Tessai running the Kido corps aka the unofficial squad 14. That is just a small sample

Aizen would most likely take over Squad 12 instead of Urahara. Since the Visored captains would not be sacrificed, he wouldn't have an opportunity to take over the 5th division. And taking over the 11th by killing the 10th Kenpachi simply wouldn't be his style. And it's unlikely that Ginrei Kuchiki would let Aizen take over the 6th division given that Byakuya was a young prodigy and was being groomed for the role. But man, really, if Aizen never betrayed them, the Gotei 13 would have been the strongest it had ever been. All the "captain level" visoreds, plus all their captain level replacements, all on the same roster. At that point it would be safe to say every lieutenant is a borderline captain in their own right. 2nd division would have Yoruichi, Urahara, AND Soifon. 3rd would have Rose and Ichimaru. 4th would have Unohana, Isane, and hypothetically Seinosuke Yamada. 7th would have Love, Komamura, and Iba. 8th would have Kyoraku and Lisa. 9th would have Kensei, Mashiro, Tosen, and Hisagi. 10th would have Isshin and Hitsugaya. AND Rangiku wouldn't be nerfed from losing her SK fragment; meaning she might be captain class too. 12th would have Aizen, Hiyori, and possibly Kurotsuchi. 13th would have Ukitake and Rukia. Pretend for a moment, best case scenario, all this extra manpower allowed them to fight the blood war without losing anyone, and add the 10 year timeskip, that's like having 2 Gotei 13s in 1. Not to mention Renji, Ikkaku, Sasakibe, and post-buff Kira.

Wasnt one of the reasons the Arrancar followed Aizen (before the Hogyoku was finished) was because of his insanely high reiatsu? its possible that being near the Hogyoku changed his Reiatsu but it wasnt finished until after he fused his with Uraharas.
The answer is simple ichigo's involvement wouldn't happen most likely. additionally, there's a chance ichigo wouldn't exist due to white being created by aizen. ishin only went to the living world due to reports of Shinigami death's to white's rampage. as a result, no meeting with Misaki and no ichigo. With azien, urahara, and myuri there, there total brain power could most likely be enough to prepare them for the quinces. Byakuya mentioned that there overreliance of ichigo 'while needed at that point" lamented they couldn't defend themselves. I can see a situation with orhime as a Shinigami due to her brothers spirit haunting her thus meeting rukia. her abilities in zanpakuto form "shikai and bankai" would be nasty if we apply her powers to it and the soul king piece within her as a hidden power of sorts.
The problem with this scenario is as said, ichigo wouldnt ve born and the battles within soul society with Ichigo and aizen wouldnt have happened. The whole reason toshiro vowed to get stronger was after getting beat up by aizen, rukia renji wouldnt have worked even harder to get stronger for bankai (vow after getting beat by ichigo). Kenpachi wouldnt have broke. Any of his subconscious restrictions since no battle eith ichigo or nnoitora. Gin wouldnt have had such an intense desire to get stronger as he no longer saught revenge. The lineup wouldve been conpletly different and not exactly for the better. Remember, kenpachi was needed to face gremmy. Mayuri for pernida(mayuri may not have progressed his blade) those two alone could cause a major problem for the soul society lineup. Lets also forget it was ichigos involvment that had changed the soul society's view point meanining they would still not be willing to bend rules in the slightest so hollow experimentation for example was out of the question. Remember yammotto refused human help and would never accept hollow help to counter the quincy

The Quincy's would have probably activated around the the same time Ichigo and Rukia would have met. And they would have enslaved the hollows in their own way 😅 And the hollows would discover a way to be stronger😂😂 and mess around with Ichigo, Rukia and the other, pushing them to evolve. The Wandenriech bodies all of Soul Society & Juha succeeds in becoming the new Soul King. Aizen's action have made several character stronger in order to stand strong in the future.

Is soul society good? I don't think so. In bleach most of characters are pretty shady if you think about it. Urahara for example. Aizen did what he did because he could as simple as that.

Aizen was a good guy, the soul society was horribly corrupt to the core. He spared the captains lives during the battle of karakura town and only sought to kill central 46 (the ones giving corrupt orders), yammamoto and intended to replace the Soul King (who by the way was mutiliated by the shinigami out of their own fear of losing power; EVEN AFTER everything he did for the worlds)
He was completely ruthless in doing so, killed innocents along the way, both necessary or not necessary to his plans, but his plans were to eliminate a thousand year corrupt and genocidal system and replace it with his own.
Soul society said "we will kill all quincies", the wadenreich said "we will kill all shinigami", hollows by their very nature would 'kill all humans' if they could, aizen never said he would kill all humans, hollows, shinigami or quincy. Hes the only 'antagonist' faction in the entire series that did not pledge complete genocide of another group.
If he was truly good and selfless he would want to end the Soul King's suffering out of true moral revulsion, not because it was an omnipotent being subjugated by the comparatively weak ancestors. And quite a few others would still be alive and several more have their status in Gotei 13's machine. Though honestly I can still see Yoruichi just go off to live her own free life in the human world. She never really liked her status or the paranoid toxic environment of the nobility.

I’m not sure - a big reason for Orihime’s brother becoming a hollow was her neglecting his afterlife care and moving on from his death, which was largely Ichigo’s fault

Aizens shikai and bankai would 100% be different since deception was a core part of his personality or even essence of who he is. So if he was good (or not deceptive, in other words), his powers would manifest differently
I'd like to point out a few things and speculate more about the events narrated in the video, would love to keep on discussing on this topic though, so if anyone thinks I'm talking out of my ahh feel free to call me out:
1 - Urahara would probably never join Squad 0. Due to Kubo confirming there can only be up to 5 members at any given time, and Kirio had already being promoted. Unless they removed one of their members in order to fit Urahara, I don't think this would be possible.
Btw, I saw this information on Mr.Tommo's channel. He reviews some information thrown on the Klub outside site where Kubo answers Bleach related questions to the fans, and this was one of them.
2 - Aizen could join the 12th squad after Urahara founds the research and development team. Ichigo points out that he felt alone, maybe for being so above everyone else, but he recognizes Urahara as superior to him when it comes to intelect, he might've been tempted to join Squad 12 to in order to stay close to someone who rivals him in that way.
3 - We may see a either a lot of special or sub lieutenants across all divisions or a lot of retirements of the captains due to Aizen not being bad. The vizards are all still around and well, and a lot of divisions would be significantly stronger due to multiple captain class characters being present at one given time (assuming they all remain on the divisions we see them at):
Yoruichi and Soi Fon; Rose and Gin; Shinji and Aizen; Love and Komamura; Kensei and Tosen; Isshin and Toshiro; Urahara and Mayuri.
We would see a very powerfull Gotei 13 when all of these characters are still around.
4 - If we stick to only 5 people as the war potencials, Aizen might've still make it. Even as a shinigami he was way stronger than everyone other than Yamamoto, not to say his zanpakuto alone could give the quincies a lot of trouble. Maybe just switch Ichigo to Yamamoto as a war potencial and there you have it.
I feel like Rukia would have remained a lower ranking member of squad 13 due to Byakuya's influence, his mind on the matter wouldn't have been changed without Ichigo

The thing with Ichigo is that it was Yhwach who forced things to make him born, it was stated by the quincy King himself. He would've born under a different circumstances but it was the power of The Almighty what arranged the events for Ichigo to be conceived.
A Zanpakutou reflects the personality of its wielder. Aizen being manipulative and cabal, Kyouka Suigetsus power is interfering the awareness of reality of its opponent. I wonder what Aizens Zanpakutou would have been like, if he had been a good guy.
I think a good "what if" is if Aizen simply defected from the Soul Society shortly after learning about the Soul King. Perhaps instead of gaining a savior/god complex, you could turn him into someone obsessed with trying to see if the nature of the world could only exist via the Soul King and how he could go about changing it so they aren't shackled to a single being's existence. Like if there was some other way to change the world, he would try rather than accept reality but without the megalomaniac twist. He would still make experiments with Hollows and such but have the intent and quite possibly the emotion behind his actions change. That way, its still very much possible for some of the plot beats in the original story to happen but for different reasons. There would be a lot of intricate details needed in order to have that sort of "what if" make sense, especially on playing with Aizen's character without truly changing it much but it would be a pretty unique scenario to have Aizen act as an antagonist or anti-hero rather than a straight up villain. I'm sure someone could make it happen. I would try to but I suck at writing so I'll leave that to the more creative people in the community if it hasn't already been done
You didn't mention that Yamamoto's soft side absence would've impacted the new quincy war on this theory.
Yhwach mentioned that he lost because he's not the same person he was 1000 years ago.
Of course, he tasted peace and had nothing to worry about, but Yhwach mentioned his intention of not letting a human heal his arm was a stupid decision and it could've helped a bit or even a tiny bit.
Can't get it out of my mind, but that Yamamoto might have a higher chance at winning against Yhwach because he won't grieve over his lieutenant at a time of war and might think of how they got his bankai instead, and might also obliterate soul society with his bankai once and for all and bring out the old ruthless founder of gotei.

Only hope for Wandenreich is to wait until Yhwach regains the Almighty, throw every sternritter at the Gotei in the initial invasion; and hope the Antithesis and/or the Balance and/or the Almighty work against Kyoka Suigetsu. I suspect that the Almighty didn't save Yhwach in canon because Aizen had already put him under his spell when he talked wih Yhwach and/ior Aizen's reiatsu being just that storng so the Almighty couldn't save Yhwach.
I would interested in seeing him being a "good villain" and by that i mean instead of being cruel, actually trying to recruit people. Convince Gin to actually work for him, take Momo with him, actually care about the Arrancar but still commiting the betrayal and several crimes with his view on killing the soul king also being a view on believing he's actually changing things for the better if he becomes a God. Eventually he would actually see Ichigo as high value asset as he has the potential to be the God he imagines making him conflicted because he always imagined himself in said position.
There would be a gigantic difference in leadership. There is a big chance Aizen may never have been squad 5 captain as Shinji and others never would have hollowfied. Kisuke would likely have still be running squad 12, Yoruichi running squad 2, Tessai running the Kido corps aka the unofficial squad 14. That is just a small sample
I Thoght Stark is already evolved into an Arrancar on his own naturally without Aizen, incluging Bragan and Ulroqia.
Starrk and Ulqiorra were already Arrancar. Starrk being born one, and Ulqiorra breaking his mask when he entered the white bush.

Aizen would most likely take over Squad 12 instead of Urahara. Since the Visored captains would not be sacrificed, he wouldn't have an opportunity to take over the 5th division. And taking over the 11th by killing the 10th Kenpachi simply wouldn't be his style. And it's unlikely that Ginrei Kuchiki would let Aizen take over the 6th division given that Byakuya was a young prodigy and was being groomed for the role. But man, really, if Aizen never betrayed them, the Gotei 13 would have been the strongest it had ever been. All the "captain level" visoreds, plus all their captain level replacements, all on the same roster. At that point it would be safe to say every lieutenant is a borderline captain in their own right.
2nd division would have Yoruichi, Urahara, AND Soifon.
3rd would have Rose and Ichimaru.
4th would have Unohana, Isane, and hypothetically Seinosuke Yamada.
7th would have Love, Komamura, and Iba.
8th would have Kyoraku and Lisa.
9th would have Kensei, Mashiro, Tosen, and Hisagi.
10th would have Isshin and Hitsugaya. AND Rangiku wouldn't be nerfed from losing her SK fragment; meaning she might be captain class too.
12th would have Aizen, Hiyori, and possibly Kurotsuchi.
13th would have Ukitake and Rukia.
Pretend for a moment, best case scenario, all this extra manpower allowed them to fight the blood war without losing anyone, and add the 10 year timeskip, that's like having 2 Gotei 13s in 1. Not to mention Renji, Ikkaku, Sasakibe, and post-buff Kira.

Aizen wasn't 'good' per se but in his view he was a hero trying to slay the evil dragon metaphorically-speaking (that evil dragon being the soul king and his system).
If Aizen never betrayed the soul society Yhwach would've won; It wouldn't matter if their bankai were stolen or not, the Schutzstaffel would've solo'd the Gotei 13 with minimal casualties (Lille and Pernida would've died, but Gerard never dies and Grimmjow can't save Urahara & Yoruichi

Wasnt one of the reasons the Arrancar followed Aizen (before the Hogyoku was finished) was because of his insanely high reiatsu? its possible that being near the Hogyoku changed his Reiatsu but it wasnt finished until after he fused his with Uraharas.

The answer is simple ichigo's involvement wouldn't happen most likely. additionally, there's a chance ichigo wouldn't exist due to white being created by aizen. ishin only went to the living world due to reports of Shinigami death's to white's rampage. as a result, no meeting with Misaki and no ichigo.
With azien, urahara, and myuri there, there total brain power could most likely be enough to prepare them for the quinces. Byakuya mentioned that there overreliance of ichigo 'while needed at that point" lamented they couldn't defend themselves.
I can see a situation with orhime as a Shinigami due to her brothers spirit haunting her thus meeting rukia. her abilities in zanpakuto form "shikai and bankai" would be nasty if we apply her powers to it and the soul king piece within her as a hidden power of sorts.
The problem with this scenario is as said, ichigo wouldnt ve born and the battles within soul society with Ichigo and aizen wouldnt have happened. The whole reason toshiro vowed to get stronger was after getting beat up by aizen, rukia renji wouldnt have worked even harder to get stronger for bankai (vow after getting beat by ichigo). Kenpachi wouldnt have broke. Any of his subconscious restrictions since no battle eith ichigo or nnoitora.
Gin wouldnt have had such an intense desire to get stronger as he no longer saught revenge.
The lineup wouldve been conpletly different and not exactly for the better. Remember, kenpachi was needed to face gremmy. Mayuri for pernida(mayuri may not have progressed his blade) those two alone could cause a major problem for the soul society lineup.
Lets also forget it was ichigos involvment that had changed the soul society's view point meanining they would still not be willing to bend rules in the slightest so hollow experimentation for example was out of the question. Remember yammotto refused human help and would never accept hollow help to counter the quincy

also, taking a nail from a child isn't that bad in soul reaper POV, I mean mayuri destroyed an entire village with its ppl and turns out head captain isnt much against it (implied they did this beofre, and headcpt was only mad at the breach in protocol)

Is soul society good? I don't think so. In bleach most of characters are pretty shady if you think about it. Urahara for example. Aizen did what he did because he could as simple as that.
