I love how most of the superstars make their debuts without being announced, keeping the surprise element and the excitement to find out what’s going to happen next. Even though everyone suspected he was going to debut, no one knew when and how.

This is fucking gold! Man, he's the next major "character" wrestler aka the Undertaker etc. He's so good, and the promos bring it back to the best eras of wrestling.
Ok I'll admit this was decent but comparing Black to the UNDERTAKER. Really? Really? That's gone a bit too far now. If anyone was the next Undertaker it was Wyatt and he failed misreably. No one can ever become the " next " of a certain wrestler because that's what makes a wrestler a legend. Their character and who they are will never happen again. There will NEVER be another Rock, Austin, Foley, Jericho, Kane, Taker, HHH, Michaels, Hogan, Flair ect ect

@Bruce Michael the commentary in particular is a big problem in my opinion.
JR, for as big of a legend as he is, doesn't have a clue who half these wrestlers are, and even less of the ridiculously named moves they perform.
Excalibur is the markiest mark for this type of wrestling and assumes everyone watching is also equally markish. He also ruins nearly every debut by announcing their name like we should already know them by it.
Commentary should be Tony, Big Show and Taz

They told AEW to never do this again, which is why they later informed everyone about Paul Wight's arrival on social media. So yeah, we can still get surprises even in this day and age, Sting being one.

My jaw dropped when I saw Malachi black aka (Aleister Black) make his AEW debut. It completely caught me off guard not just because he came to AEW, but also because this whole time I thought he still had a month or two left before he could make an appearance in another promotion after his release.
