One of the things that I've always found odd about this podcast but I wouldn't change it for the world is the way Jericho goes into ad reads. This episode is a perfect example. There's this one part where malakai is talking about learning from veterans and when malakai is done making his point and stops talking Jericho starts talking, sounding totally different by the way which just makes it obvious that this was recorded later and edited in, and Jericho says "and I want to talk about about what you learned from Shawn Micheals but before we do malakai I just want to say that if your the type of person who likes working on your own car..." and he just goes into an ad read. And it's like obviously he didn't actually say that right? Like obviously he didn't interrupt this interview because right at that moment he felt like he just HAD to tell malakai black about a fucking online car parts store. Obviously it was recorded later and edited in. Which is fine but I just find it funny how everytime he tries to make it seem like a natural part of the conversation.
Vince McMahon was the problem. Once he was sent home and Triple H and Stephanie took over the company and creative, we saw a lot of people return to WWE and the product got way better. The board of directors did bring Vince McMahon back and they compared his booking to Triple H's at Wrestlemania. Triple H's booking of Wrestlemania Saturday was way better than what Vince booked on Saturday night. That's when they put Triple H in complete control of creative and talent relations and Vince McMahon has no say in those. I find it awful funny that Stephanie stepped down from her post and resigned from the company when Vince McMahon returned.

To think, people were dumbfounded that WWE would release Aleistar Black. A real...bad sign for the company, making you question wtf was wrong. And then they fucking released Wyatt @___@
A solution to booking could be Vince NOT head the creative team and just do business. Creative Team determines the directions of the show and wrestlers contribute with their characters.
This is further proof Vince McMahon does not know how to connect with this younger Talent perfect example look at Killer cross and Keith Lee on the main roster this is why I want Adam Cole to leave
I feel Vince is trapped in the past and trying to repeat the same success. You have to change some times. You can honor the past but you can't repeat it.

It’s not that. Listen to the background with headphones
He'll be back in WWE soon.
Ayyy Chris people said on Twitter that Eddie Guerrero was an b plus player
Vince is running NXT and WWE as a whole to the ground. Damn shame he can't be vetoed out. He's undoing all the great work Triple H has done with NXT.
We want to see buddy Murphy in Aew . Here he will get the chance to show his potential.
Good luck Malakai 👏
So in 3 to 5 years from now buddy and black will main event AEW biggest event of the year. Got it
Damn Jericho you just made UA-cam a Damn Radio but damn I'm enjoying it!
You know Fat2J called this whole interview, he calls every fucking thing else in AEW, from telling them who to hire right down to taking credit for them forming, he's a cog in the machine just like the rest of the roster
Y2J what are your thoughts on Caster’s “controversial” rap? As well as it being edited out of AEW Dark?
What'd he say?
@@switchblade6993 referenced simone biles , duke lacrosse and a joke about Julia hart
Great interview, interesting guy. The Cody match was great, wonder if he continues the feud or takes on someone else
Imagine what a show like Impact can do with Heyman’s help?
There are talents that are in the business for the money and there are talents that are in the business because of their passion for professional wrestling. Tommy End & whoever that are not in the WWE are in the latter
Great podcast
love how AEW is treating ex wwe talent better then wwe...Love AEW
I’m curious to know how Paul would change a wrestling product if he could start another company up I’m curious to know if he’d run it like ecw horrible product or run it more like wwe and how many people would follow him
Alister "so, like, you know, like, like, you know" Black
Jericho says we don't talk about WWE and here we are lol
dark father gimmick reminds me of the cultist Joseph "The Father" seed from Far Cry 5.
I am 100% sure that Tripe h would have him tried desperately to bring him back to Wwe now due to the changes that has taken place. But since he is signed with aew i guess it will all be just a dream now
Wait until you hear interviews from Bray Wyatt🤘
AEW has this thing Vince doesn’t know shit about.
Matches.
Wrestling on a FUCKING WRESTLING SHOW!
To think, people were dumbfounded that WWE would release Aleistar Black.
A real...bad sign for the company, making you question wtf was wrong.
And then they fucking released Wyatt @___@
Jericho does this on purpose every time
Dark father is the only char Vince relates to - guess Kayfabe ain't dead then
Only one person will be safe from WWE release, Roman Reigns. Maybe John Cena also.
Hmmm Paul Heyman loved Malakai Black and wanted Anderson and Gallows cut…seems smart to me
A solution to booking could be Vince NOT head the creative team and just do business. Creative Team determines the directions of the show and wrestlers contribute with their characters.
Problem is Paul Heyman is a great mind but lies through his teeth.
This is further proof Vince McMahon does not know how to connect with this younger Talent perfect example look at Killer cross and Keith Lee on the main roster this is why I want Adam Cole to leave
If Vince was so "fond" of Black then why did he get fired?
Money is usually the answer...
Bruce Pichard.Vince didn't even want to fire Black.
I feel Vince is trapped in the past and trying to repeat the same success. You have to change some times. You can honor the past but you can't repeat it.
Vince is stuck in the “I want to do it by myself” mindset. That’s a old way of thinking and doesn’t work in today’s society. Black gave ideas to Vince and still turned down the offer. Vince is not networking with his creative team and the current wwe stars it’s all about him
Just uploaded a "Funniest Jericho Moments" video from his WCW days if anyone is interested. 👍
Heyman is a god
2 legends 🔥🔥🔥🔥
