good to see you back, hope you enjoyed the down time - well deserved. I use an hw95 around the stables for feral pigeons. one observation i have observed whilst practising, is that it is far more accurate and consistent with a firm hold. if i use any kind of light / artillery hold , i can't hit a barn door - the opposite of what i have been led to believe.
will do , thanks for the reassurance i am not completely wrong . interesestingly, if i use a light hold , my shots are consistently low by about an inch over my 6 metre practice range at home - i would have expected them to go high , may explain some of my complete misses on the pigeons . now saving up for an hw 80 luxus to add to my collection. thankyou for your videos- educational and humane ethics- very impressed @@CORVIDHUNTER
Nice to watch, and nice to see you back. Had to have time out myself, badly broken ankle (broke in 4 places). Regarding shelving for the hide, I use a couple of bivvy tables in mine, just a thought mate. 👍
your kill shot perfect mate . Woodies are like flying tanks in Bridgend Porthcawl area the toughest bird i know they are so fat they look like rugby balls
Hey up!, Lee, nice te see you back. I too have had a lean shooting period in my garden since t'wife had reconstructive surgery on ankle/foot, which required a pot on then boot for 4 mnths, followed by crutches and physio, and now more mobile. During that time guess who's been chief carer, cook, house maid, etc? Big Steve E. Yorks.
Great video mate.Good to see you back out!You made a great point about identifying your quarry before taking the shot.Have nearly done the same involving a stock dove. Great footage bud. Atvb👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😉
Cracking shots on those woodies Lee, I have the camo hub 2 pop up hide very similar to the one you have, a bit more expensive and I've had to repair the bottom corners were the poles sit in, good job I'm good at sewing 😂

With springers its all about using the same technique, if you have found a hold that works stick with it 👍
