This is such a great channel I have learned so much thankyou lee ,not only that but during these most difficult of days it gives hope and focus of better days to come.
Hi Lee, Thanks for a great film. It was lovely to see the Barn Owl and Buzzards. As many Chris Packham's, Kate Humble's, anti shooters, etc, won't realise, it's not all about pulling the trigger. What we sometimes see whilst sitting quiet, camoflaged up, is amazing, and one of the many integral parts we enjoy as shooters. I also have an Air Arms Ultimate Sporter, Lee, in .177 calibre, though mine isn't tuned, just as it came from the factory. It's an amazing air rifle, and I'm very fond of it. Instead of an ordinary sling, Lee, I have sling off an SA 80 British army rifle. Instead of carrying my air rifle over my shoulder, it us carried in front of me as I walk, facing forward, down, allowing me to hold the pistol grip, too. If I need to take a shot, I can bring the rifle up, and there's a clip on the strap, allowing slack. I like it, and prefer it to an ordinary sling. They can be sourced on Ebay, and instructions on how to install them are on Utube, if anyone reading is interested? I saw an SA80 rifle sling demonstrated on Utube. I like the look of them, and tried one. I really like mine. Best wishes, Lee, Ian.
Fantastic vid, ticked all the boxes and more for a proper hunting film....quarry, great shooting, wildlife, information, knowledge, scenery.....the list goes on. Thanks as always for sharing mate.
Onother good one Lee, I am very envious. As you know my permisions are 65 miles away, so I just keep watching yours and dreaming, one day. Great shots , keep at em my friend. Talk soon.Paul
Brilliant session learnt so much from you regarding the grey squirrel, little bastards , i’ve got a feeder up falls to the brim not been touched in two weeks God knows where they have gone now,
Cracking shooting as always mate & good to see the feeders starting to be productive 👌 That buzzard will probably cotton on & start to hang around for a free meal or two 👍
I used to go shooting as a kid with my uncle when he had permission to shoot on the Hollesley Bay prison land in suffolk. Loved them days years ago nothing shot was wasted and he would always let me have a couple of shots would be some report going in nowadays. Fast forward to 2021 i have permission to metal detect old woodland near my home in Ipswich. Today i sent a message to the owner about airgun shooting she said you're welcome to go shooting in the woods. I'm now going to get a set up and make a hide like you had. My hobbies are metal detecting sea fishing and lastly watching Ipswich Town but they are so crap nowadays and the owner is running the club into the ground so i will spend that season ticket money on an airgun set up from birds fishing tackle near Ipswich. You're video is great and gives me a lot of new ideas. Not so sure i would be able to resist having a pop at any phesents great eating. Thanks
@@CORVIDHUNTER well a season ticket cost me near to 400 quid and just until change at ipswich town will use that money to get a gun. Thanks for the reply
Well done mate great session. Don’t know about you but I normally cop a load of agro for shooting birds if I’m ratting or squirrel shooting so I’ve started leaving them out now.
Another great piece of shooting lee. Talking to keepers wife she said she heard squealing in garden when she looked out it was a gray attacking a rabbit... never heard of that before have you
Hi, very professional and interesting footage. As a taxidermist, rather than see your quarry go to waste, I am looking for 5 perfect Magpie and 5 Jays for mounting. Best with no head damage and will pay £5.00 per bird plus postage? If interested please get in touch.
Cracking mate, well done. Ambushing those first two squirrels at a feeding station, very impressive. That exhibits the same hunting skills that we see here when deer hunters set up their stands next to a deer feeding station. I to like eating squirrel but I enjoy it more when I can associate the taste with a great hunting experience. Not dispatching them when they were at a safety zone (a feeding station).
Squirrels have no season due to them being an invasive species in the Uk, some bird species have closed seasons. Population control is the primary reason👍
Hi mate good shooting, a question for you, I see you use the reticle do you have to download that. are you using the one in the reticle in the scope, and then do your hold over or hold under. Thanks Don
Thanks Don 😁 The reticle is already installed in the Atn. All you have to do is choose which one you want. The reticle i use has mildots for holdover etc 👍
