It makes the song all the more beautiful that no one's paying any attention. It gives him an added air of dignity. Standing and delivering an absolute masterpiece to an unappreciative crowd, completely heartfelt and not putting a note wrong. Much respect Travis.
He did this MULTIPLE times in multiple cities. I watched him do this three times....and the crowd basically shit and pissed on him. It broke my damn Heart every time.
So long to your faith believe in yourself no fantasy. Lyrics in this song are just phenomenal and have so much meaning. Truly one of the most underrated greats!
One of my fave songs and one of my fave live performacnes of this song. HE is a genius. His music has helped me especially this song this past week with the major stress of a bad situation in my life and that of my husband.....His lyrics to this song gave me hope to carry on...to not give up that there is a way out of it....and things are looking up. Thanks Travis!!! For Everything!!!
this song and DIE BORN!! have to say is the best off the red album..but i can listen to the whole album a hundred times in a row n not get tired of it ;O)
Que isso cara .. O Days of the new vendeu milhões de álbuns, abriu shows pro Metallica, ficaram muito famosos. Pena que os fantasmas do Travis sempre arrastaram ele pra baixo impedindo-o de se manter em evidência.
i just seen DOTN reunion ALL ORIGINAL MEMBERS at Freedom Hill -sterling hts, MI- this past saturday!! sweeet!! they only played a half hour but was awesome every second!
I agree with all the comments about Travis being one of the most solid/skilled musical minds/voices ever, but you can't hold others accountable if they don't know what they're witnessing. Just consider yourselves "lucky" to know him.
these people were being polite compared to the animals that surrounded me in the first row last night. i felt bad for Travis as he poured his heart out.
I kind of doubt nobody knew who Layne Staley was. Alice In Chains was arguably the best band of the 90's. Maybe in their earlier days in Seattle around 89'. But they totally blew up in the 90's.
Travis really did well with the vocals here. I feel like his voice has fallen off in recent years. The drums are so lackluster though. I could do that on any kit for him if he needed me to. He needs a drummer that's a bit busier back there. Back-up vocals would be money too, like on the record.
too bad we cant get just the music. these people ruin a great song and have no respect. I wish the bootleg had that intro. well that intro minus ass-faces.
It must be so frustrating to try to play quiet, gentle and beautiful music while the crowd is just all yammering on about whatever. It seems pretty disrespectful to the band. You're at a show! Listen now - talk later - ssshhhhhhhh......

he nailed it so hard... his singing is PERFECT
it's 2021 and I discover this song and wondering why it is not a famous song. Incredible melody, lyrics, intention and interpretation.

This one of the greatest songs I have ever heard,.I consider myself very blessed to check out the red album. Its fucking incredible.
His live performances are utterly flawless, better than studio run sometimes
He didnt show up for his show in covington last night. I was really bummed out and sad for him honestly. One of the most talented guitarist ever.
Well said, kndrice. This true artist bears his soul, and all people want these days is sheer entertainment.
awesome song. really love the vocals in it.
Fucking Travis - he's amazing
He was so young when he hit the bright lights, I remember. Much like the Silverchair fellow. I'll put Sum 41 in the same mix.

he's the best on earth
awesome!!!
Chris Cornell should have covered this song 👊
We love ya Travis
Badass

Fuck yeah
layne didnt even write most of their songs. i saw him in little rock and the crowd was the same. nobody knew who he was and nobody cared. kind of sad.

It sucks for the real DOTN fans who want to see him though.
What is this tune???
