God I wish maxi revert the OST change because 1. It does not fit well and 2. It just sounds worse, with incoherent filler noise and messy rifts that just destroy the flows from Kozin's V1
The new ost had potential but it wasnt well executed. the end part (low gravity) used to be really intense and stressful but i dont feel the same watching this. it just feels empty
As a person that has beaten V1 and V2, ill give my experiences. V2's pacing is way more balanced and the speed section was buffed immensely. Its no longer a low crazy for half the map. Theres also a zipline launcher which is part of a new kit. The speed section feels like it now has reduced jump power. This is kind of an issue because that one chokable walljump is now much worse. Despite this, I feel like V2 is better. It feels more like a Crazy+
I like the little special effects you added especially with the little faded black borders around the screen. Also ngl this new ost is very controversial imo but at the same time i feel like it's that thing where you just need to listen to it more and than you will actually like it. Anyways nice video

@@bunayogaming_q2841 he did a community post explaining it, and he is still working on another remake tldr: - the version he had originally from kozin was so out of tune it gave him a headache - he eventually had to do some "fl studio magic" to sorta fix the song - due to rendering issues, the music sounds oddly muffled and low quality - this all happened in a time crunch of 4 days

i personally think the v2 ost fits well, especially since once you beat the map the first time and get better at it, the intensity of the speed section kinda just wears off, and its not the same as the first time, and i just think the v2 ost sounds better imo. i used to dislike abandoned harbor, but after the updates it received, its like a top 5 c+

I have to admit the middle was lacking, but the end from 1:44-1:55 was really good. OST's aren't used to threaten they are used to hype up the gaming experience, that is what V2 did better than V1.

not a huge fan of the OST... The V1 OST was the main reason of why I liked abandoned harbour so much and now with this new OST I just simply don't want to play the map. OSTs are essential in order to complement a map and this song simply fails at it. Kozin is a great composer but the new OST is just terrible on this map in my opinion.
@@hamIindigo im a month late, but tired mentioned in his community post that kozin WANTED the song to be remade so it kinda led to this: 1. kozin sent him his half-finished AH v2 ost 2. tiredtv had a listen, it was rlly bad (out of tune at so many parts and yes even kozin agreed) 3. he had to try and salvage the song in a time crunch of 4 days 4. due to rendering issues, the final product sounded lower quality than it did in FL studio (hence the low quality) the v2 ost wont be uploaded until tiredtv / kozin serves it justice
Devastation Update? More like devastated Downdate cus up to this day I still do not enjoy this ost over the v1 which for usual osts like AVM OSTs and the Drainpipe Stream V2 I got used to very easily
the main selling point of old abandoned harbour’s ost is how threatening it sounded. combined with the red monotone of the map, it really encapsulates being in an adrenaline rush which made it a generally likeable ost. the current one just feels like it wasn’t that serious and that it was just taken from some comedy show
it doesn’t suck all of it, but the final part needs more power, V1 had that, V2 focuses more on melody, I think a mashup of these two versions would be epic

I would say V1 might be better than V2 since it sounds different, but still not better.

i personally like both end sections at 1:27 (for v1 it's 1:36) but v1 sounds a lot more fitting before the end section

Apparently it wasn't even remastered by Kozin, but by someone named TiredTV. Kozin said this when replying to somebody in the original V1 OST video.
