The Amy Winehouse documentary actually played in the Fredonia Opera House, this famous Opera House from the 1800s in Fredonia, NY. The chorus to Lupe Fiasco's Samurai is actually from a voicemail of Amy Winehouse to talking to her producer Salaam. She talks about these beautifully alliterated battle raps that shes coming up with that she wants to use in her next album. "Singing by the opera house but not in it. Alongside it. A long silence." Lupe really wrote a sweet and somber song.

If Lupe is going with a similar concept like he did for Drogas Wave tracks 9 and 15, then it’s gonna be a storytelling alternate/what if concept based on Amy Winehouse.
