Genesis Live Supper's Ready New York 1986

- During the Beginning of the USA Leg of the Invisible Touch Tour, Genesis didn't play Afterglow after In That Quiet Earth, They played Supper's Ready beginning with Apocalypse in 9/8.
But Phil's voice became a few problems singing it. The last time Supper's Ready got played must have been in New Zealand. Although rumours are saying, it was tested during one of the australian gigs, before it got totally replaced by Afterglow. Phil suggested to play the whole Supper's Ready and Carpet Crawlers, but he got devoted by Tony and Mike. There was only one expection, when they did Carpet Crawlers in Southhampton in 1992...
This is the last Madison Square Garden Day during this Tour :)
Phil, unfairly, gets a lot of flack of changing the band's directions too harshly. But the reality is that he was the one who pushed for songs like "Supper's Ready" to be kept alive in it's entirety. When pressed, he'll admit that 'the Lamb' is his favorite Genesis album. He never was the anti "old Genesis" people thought he was.
Phil didn’t change anything. It was the three of them equally responsible of the output.
Mike and Tony explicitly stated that they wanted to make hit songs. They were tired of working hard and not making big money. It's a testament to their talent and hard work that they just decided to write hits and then those songs became hits. I don't begrudge them any of it as they wrote at least 8 excellent progressive rock albums before they decided to go pop.
@Magnum Muscle One of the few good and true comments about this topic.
But only 1/3 of Suppers Ready was played here.
@@SolarMusicZ: It was what was decided on. Tony & Mike didn't want to play the whole of it as they felt that 23 minutes or so on one song was too much. Plus, they were at their commercial peak at that time.
If you don't get chills while Phil is singing the last verse, you are not alive.
I love the guy in the crowd "SUPPERS READY!!" "YEAHHHHHH!!!!"
I love that, too! His enthusiasm is infectious. ^_^
@@IggyNapster I didn't know the song when I saw Genesis in 86... but it was the only song that stood out. Those Moog Taurus bass pedals caved in my chest.
Imagine go to a Genesis concert in 86, in the supporting tour for their most pop record (probably one of the poppiest records of all time!) and get this... It's just insane.
I don't have anything against the "pop ages". I even like it but fuck you're right!
I came here when I looked up the fact that this was played on this tour... Had to see it to believe. hahaha radical stuff. how do you go from in Too Deep to Supper's Ready? A great trick to play on your girlfriend for sure... at this point Genesis fans likely had girlfriends and wives... I'm sure.
I like Daryl's work, but Hackett is sorely missing on the end of this.
It is pop rock record with occasional progressive and experimental moments in it - that wouldn't make it "one of the poppiest records of all time" (whatever that means).
@@brianjlevine That riff after "There's an angel standing in the sun" always gets to me, but Hackett made it more emotional.
The crowd reaction says all you need to know about the importance of the song to Genesis and their fans.
Am I the only one who tears up at the end of this powerfully epic song?
Me too.
Make it three Andrew. I had a cassette of this concert from an American show called the King biscuit flower hour. Played this song so many times in the car, would always sing it with the tears starting to flow. Went to one of the Wembley 1987 gigs,,, would have loved them to have done this. I would probably have welled up in front of 72,000 people. What a piece of musical magic. Phil put so much effort into this segment.
A flower? :D
Hell no
Nope, the was 50 of us from the Genesis UK fan club there that week and personally my head fell off at that point along with 49 others, amazing show and an amazing trip, New York forever in my heart💖💖💖💖
I love the crowd reaction when the 9/8 riff kicks in. They went absolutely bonkers! And rightfully so! Suppers Ready rules!
I saw Genesis in L.A. and the crowd went nuts when they played this...What a memory!
At 4:26
Phil: "And it's..."
Fan: "Yeeeeeeeeeah!"
Nice to see that there is at least one person in that audience that wasn't there for Invisible Touch. In 1986, SR was "only" 14 years old when IT was at #1 on the charts. Today, IT is 26 years old. Crazy.
I'm willing to bet that the young ones who were there just to hear Invisible Touch became even bigger Genesis fans after hearing this.
True. They played Madison Square Garden in NYC, 9/29, 9/30, 10/1,10/2,10/3 1986. I was at 9/29 & 9/30. The teenagers in front of me night 1 thought they were hit by a mack truck when they did this. They were in shock, and had no idea that this is 8 minutes of a 23 minute all time epic. For them In The Cage/In that Quiet Earth/Apocalypse in 9/8 were all 1 long epic. They thought they would see Phil sing In The air Tonight. I told them NOT TONIGHT!!!!
And the back catalogue sales rocketed in New York city .
man... you are fucking right!
I'd have preferred to have seen Genesis play live and not do any of the radio friendly material. The full Supper for starters would be essential
Phil's vocal here is fucking awesome!
Listen in to the passage of the Apocalypse in 9/8 between 1:55 - 2:14 when my boy Phil's divine drumming is accompanied by the Tony's organs sound. I have personally not heard anything in my entire life, thus far anyway, that would be more emotional orgasm inducing than this duo's unprecedented instrumental pinnacle of sound and rhythm. Every time Tony has a prominent part in any Genesis instrumental performance, one instantly detects the marvelous synchronization he has with Phil. The outcomes have always been above and beyond epic, eternal and enduring classics.
+88BigEtrain Your boy Phil is pretty impressive
Don't leave out Chester out of that. In fact, what makes that segment so brilliant drum-wise is that the tom fills they do, they alternate who plays, so Phil hits a tom twice, then Chester hits one twice and so and so forth, when done in combination you get that continuous run of tom fills. They did that kind of thing a lot and it was made Genesis live so interesting!
I love the audience's enthusiasm. You can even hear somebody excitedly shout "Supper's Ready!" at about 4 seconds in. Fantastic concert.
Right?! Could you imagine being at that concert? Holy cow! I wish I had a time machine so I could see this one or any from the 70s; I only got to see them in 2007 when I was in college. I get goose bumps every time I listen to this song, especially in the last two movements!
Phil actually wanted to perform the entire suppers ready song on the invisible touch tour but the rest of the band voted against it so they went with this. At least some of Suppers ready was something for this tour. :)
+Matthew Laskorski I also heard that he wanted to do SR and Carpet Crawlers on the WCD tour in 92...but was once again voted against it. However, they did do the latter once at a show in England.
@@GenesisFan01 Southampton, 10/23/92. I have that show
How to make grown men cry.
Happy tears.
Indeed! ♥
This footage, shot by me was filmed on 10/1/86. I had attended the two previous nights to get an idea of how best to shoot the show. There was a nasty woman sitting to my right that kept trying to deliberately get in the way of the camera. Thankfully she must have been a "new Genesis" fan because she went away during the "oldies" portion of the show. For the most part I was able to zoom to Darryl's side of the stage to avoid her when she got fiesty. At one point on the tape you can hear me say to her "can you please stop it already" to which she replied NO! My friend who accompanied me to these concerts would periodically massage my main camera arm while I held the camera with the opposite hand to rest. I took making good, steady videos very seriously back then. Back in 1986 videocameras were big stupid devices. My sure fire way of never getting caught entering the arena? It's kinda gross but I would put a shitted up pair of underwear on top of the clothes that concealed the camera in my bag. Whenever security would open my bag they'd see the shitty draws and push me through without a search of the bag. Worked all the time. At some point in the future I will upload the entire gig from the master tapes.
Please upload your transfer from the master tapes, it would be greatly appreciated!!!
If you'd like to contact me privately for a trade, just send me a message. I have lots of other Genesis recordings.
Maybe you are plannig to upload the footage to tradersden or dimeadozen or genesismovement?
although I've seen them 8times I never video them folk like you are great for keeping the old older stuff alive .my hat's to yer
7977allen i was at this show with the Uk Genesis fan club, the was about 50 of us staying over the road at the Penta, what a week it was, still keep in touch with some of the people who were with us and New yorkers who we met when there, was in NYC 2 wks ago with my kids and met up with my friend Anthony who i met that night, just an absolutely brilliant time in my life, get to see phil later in the year over here in blighty, can't wait!!
7977allen We came from the Uk for the shows and audio recorded them, one of the nights the was a massive fight infront of us, you can hear the fight during in too deep, madness!!!
Thanks for filming this show. I have it on tape somewhere. I received it from an ad in Melody Maker back in the 80's. lol
Phil's voice is fantastic on this. Did he miss one note? Well, maybe one.
They just falcon punched the whole audience with this.
a true man of culture, I see
I have chills. Anyone who says Phil ruined prog should be dragged out on the street! Just magnificent.
Isn't it funny that THIS song got more applause than Lets Say In Too Deep or Invisible Touch?
Really a shame that it was left out and that there is no Proshot of this Performance... And Great to see some people in the upper left corner listening to the concert :D
Not exactly the first song you wanna play drums to
All of the Collins era renditions of the closing part are so much better, more powerful than the original.
Absolutely, they’re so great!
I almost cried when they started playing this at the 86 show. My favorite Genesis piece.
I was one of the lucky ones who got to see them perform Supper's Ready fro this tour.
Ben Ragunton I think I’m luckier as I saw Genesis in 1974 with Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett in the band. Supper’s Ready was the piece de resistance. and Peter was just amazing with his costumes and masks.
I also saw this is ‘86 in Chicago. It was pure heaven.
They played Madison Square Garden in NYC, 9/29, 9/30, 10/1,10/2,10/3 1986. I was at 9/29 & 9/30. When they went into Apocalypse in 9/8, IT WAS TOTAL CROWD PANDAMONIUM!!
We’ll never see a live band of this awesomeness again - Apocalypse in 9/8 is just sublime.
To me this is the best Genesis video on UA-cam. Pure magic !
I return to this clip at least quarterly. No matter the quality, it is perfection.
To all Peter Gabriel fans, Peter is a wonderful singer and a musician, but he's nowhere near my boy Phil's greatness. Frankly, no one is. Everything Phil touches, attempts, or, even covers, is epic, genius, legendary and cannot be surpassed. During 1980's, he owned the music industry, and everyone who meant anything in the business at that time, would have Phil participate in their projects, in any way possible. Phil is the best male singer of all time, bar none. His voice range is out of reach for everyone else. Look at that phenomenal drumming as well. Above and beyond other drummers' abilities. Phil is so shamelessly sick in everything he does behind his drum set. Phil not only saved Genesis, but he made it into what I think is the most well rounded band of all time. The fact that he was even more successful with his solo career, is outright hard to wrap one's mind around.
88BigEtrain Amen! Can't say it any better than you did. Peter truly was great, but he left the band and people need to get over it. Most groups would have packed it in after losing both Gabriel and Hackett, but instead Phil, Tony, & Mike are responsible for the greatest resurrection ever for a band. There's no question that Phil was the better all-around performer, but REAL Genesis fans know that both guys were great in their 'own special way' (to quote a certain song from Wind and Wuthering).
Genesis was Peter Gabriel. With Phil it was a translation of Genesis but he was holy and could add few prophechy, which is accepted as rest of the story.
Grab a guitar you will find "wish you were here" in "another day in the paradise" in two minutes.
But it's not the end. The end is A broadway show. Genesis to Revelation with original track of fifth of firth without the small satanic, wicked 5 notes extension, forcing the spirit to live the building. A show with gabriel, phill and rest.
This will be done soon. I hope meeting them alive there.
I saw this leg of the tour in Detroit and Phil nailed it.
The only thing Phil can do better than Peter in Genesis is play the drums...
AmericaFirst I was at this show, a gang of 52 of us from the Uk organised by the fan club, stayed at the Penta (Pennsylvania) across the road, one of my greatest memories, still following to this day, of upto Glasgow and Newcastle next friday for Phils shows, been a brilliant journey :)))
I never knew Genesis performed this section of "Supper's Ready" well into the 1980's. Just an amazing piece of live footage here, from 1986. Thanks for posting this up here on UA-cam. :o) :o)
They played the full song in 1982 tour.
ua-cam.com/video/R3Vc33msZ-w/v-deo.html
You should see my friends reactions when I introduce them to Brand X. "THAT'S Phill Collins??"
Yea, my dad couldn't believe Phil played the amazing 7/8 part on the solo part of Cinema Show
It's criminal that this wasn't included on the Invisible Touch tour video...
By the time the Wembley shows were filmed they had already replaced "Supper's Ready" with "Afterglow".
there is in the cage medley in youtube in video
2:51 ...And Then There Was Thunders Under New York
3:45 Phil just finds the time to whack some cymbals in the "mellotron" chords like he did in 1977. They're the most epic chords in modern music IMHO. Start at 3:28 instead. I have to say for me the 1986-7 shows made the 1983-4 ones look lame. Phil's voice was the best in 86-87 since way back in 1978. Check out the in the cage medley Germany 1987 7 June video. Afterglow magnificent. I found it just tonight and watched it about 7 times.
The vocal-part is too challenging ... no singer can do this night after night. Perhaps some singers with a high voice, but Phil? Not every night! Mindblowing version though and I would give a lot hearing this live again ONCE ... Supper's ready is a monster-song and it's a pity bands don't write this kind of stuff anymore nowadays.
They performed it in Perth Australia 5th Dec 86, and it was like OMFG, I could not believe it, I left after this as they did Invisible Touch, how could you compare after this. , the 2nd night I was in the 2nd row and they drooped it. The power in this, the expression, its the best ever musical performance for me in my opinion,
Wow, i was never 100% if they played Supper's Ready in Australia. All i knew is, that it was dropped at the concert in Sydney!
Simply awesome, the sound and the extrordinary music of Genesis changed my life.
Almost impossible to put into words...the POWER!! the goosebumps!!! you just had to be there!!!
This is the part of the show where all the Phil loving soccer Moms head for the ladies room. Pure gold!
That guy that screams SUPPER'S READY!!!!!... if I had been there I would have screamed that as well. There's a soundboard recording of the first MSG show on this tour that even without any ambient mics, you can hear the crowd absolutely losing it when Supper's kicks in. I'd wish there was a soundboard available for this particular show, making a matrix with the audio from the video footage would've been very interesting. Oh, and by the way, after this absolute masterpiece, they played Invisible Touch haha!
I was there too! One of the loudest crowds I've ever heard at MSG. The place thundered when they kicked off with Mama.
To me this is the best, most powerfull version without Peter. Fantastic!
I saw this opening night at MSG '86. I waited overnight in line to get tickets for this show and experiencing this version of the In The Cage Medley where they played the last 2 sections of Supper's Ready made it all worth it! Funny thing was this was the first time I'd ever heard it, since I was not familiar with Foxtrot. The albums I had before the 'Three' era, were Selling England, Lamb, Trick & W&W. So I was not familiar with this at all! Needless to say this piece of music has had a profound and lasting impact on me musically. What an experience, I will never forget!
I was at the Monday night show, too. Phenomenal concert, though the Forest Hills Tennis Center shows were my all-time favorite - and they played Suppers Ready in its entirety! So glad they played the end of it in '86 - Apocalypse 9/8 section is my favorite section of any Genesis song. Was supposed to see the Friday night show but wound up ticketless. Worst night of my teenage years.
@@aMan-or9ij I remember after the medley had ended, I was just in awe over what I'd just listened to, this may be the greatest piece of music my 21yo ears had ever heard live, people were totally in love with it. Then they went into Invisible Touch, and I could hear many people saying NOOOOO!!! Right where I was sitting! Very disappointing, almost like watching the death of the great Genesis right before our eyes...
That's what they should have ended the show with, I mean how can they top the closing sections of Supper's Ready? IMO it's their best piece of music!
One of my all time favorite songs.
Those fans are losing their minds right now ❤️
Old vid. Doubt this comment will gain traction. But could someone please get Pete and Steve to return. Let Nick take over for Phil and let’s see an old school Genesis show. Let this song be the ending.
Two things about this;
1. I can’t picture Mike Rutherford playing this wearing that white suit with oversized shoulder pads and the fretless bass
2. The fucking drummer belted that out!!
I think this is the better live version of Supper
My husband seen the show in New Zealand and they played Supers Ready in the medley, was the highlight of the night for him.
Collins really wanted to do Suppers Ready on the 1992 tour but Banks and Rutherford said no. The most interesting thing is that Steve Hackett's version on GR2 is dropped down to the same key as the "As sure as Eggs....."....they'd have been able to do that!
Matt James I wish they did do the full song. Most people don’t understand that mike and tony turned the band, not phil. Peter left on his own, and Steve left because of tony. Why is phil always blamed? HE SAVED THE BAND!
@@bobbywillis1466 Absolutely, I think Mike's and Tony got lazy and leaned on Phil's talent a lot which would explain the relative lack of technical effort they put in after 1982, while Phil just kills it on drums and vocals in 1986 and 1987.
@@bobbywillis1466 You know, I have a feeling that Phil was the magical ingredient in the band since late 1970 when he joined. He was the glue that held it together. He had the music biz contacts and the charisma and smarts. They would never have found another singer after Pete left because they were too insular, so Phil saved their ass in 1975.
Just beyond magnificent.
No - if you don't chills from hearing Supper's Ready at all then there's something wrong with you!
What a band my Gooooooooooooooood!!
As I listen to this again what I personally consider to be the finest version of supper's ready. A chill runs down my spine and the hair on my arms.and it brings a tear to my eyes knowing that they will never again play this amazing tune.
This is the only song from the Gabriel era that I like Phils voice better.Especially the version on the live album . I like everything up till Abacab but after that I just couldn't listen to them anymore.Just my opinion.I miss those days but sure am glad I grew up when I did and not now .
I think was the last time they ever played "Supper's Ready" live?
At least with Phil singing, but they did "Lover's Leap" on their 1998 Calling All Stations tour.
I was at both Forest Hills Tennis Stadium shows, First Genesis show at MSG in 1978 and still consider Forest Hills best setlist. Saw them at JFK in Philly just days before as well. What a week!
daryl steurmer really noodling around here, for the sake of, like on fountain of salmacis. sure that didnt make the decision to cut this from the setlist any harder
JERUSALLEEEEEMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Anyone else here trying to figure out what in the hell that little figure is center right on stage? It almost looks like Mini -Peter Lol!
thank you

They palyed five sold out shows at the Rosemont Horizon. I went to the last one. The Supper's Ready ending to the medley gave me goosebumps. Amazing show. One of the best concerts I've seen in my whole life.
I love the guy screaming out of nowhere SUPPER'S READYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
It’s funny to think that at this point in time , the song was only 14 years old. Im sure it seemed like some ancient relic to the band (and fans) when really fourteen years is not that long.
Yeah odd to think that as I type this it nearly as close to its release than we are now to the last time Genesis played live.
Like Beethoven's 9th, Mahler's 3rd and Wagner's Tristan und Isolde and other great classic anthems; Supper's Ready is one of truest expressions of the revelatory and redemptive power of music. Chokes me up every time I hear it.
Is there any doubt why Phil has back problems in 2019? Look at his posture sitting at the drums in this video.
Imagine witnessing this greatness. I was born just 10 years too late for this performance lol
I even met Phil and the entire band backstage this evening. 1986...What an amazing event!!
I'm sooo jealous. Please, do tell though.
@mlester72 It could have been worse. I had read that they had played Supper's Ready in Philly in '86. Then they come to DC, they get to the part in the medley where it's supposed to kick in, and instead it's . . . Afterglow. A very good song in and of itself, but, c'mon, nothing compares to Supper's Ready! I was literally heart-broken. Oh well, at least I saw Genesis in '82 when they played the whole song.
raelraven2 I know what you mean. I was at the DC show too. A bit of a letdown to hear Afterglow for the umpteenth time.
No you are not - I saw it played with PG back in the day and half the audience was welling up and hugging friends like a revival meeting at the end. It is as close to a religious experience as rock n roll gets.
Oh that fuckin bass pedal! Just an orgasmic moment!
with a very bad sound like that you can enjoy a bass pedal ?
@@phenixreturns yes I can. Perhaps the problem here are your ears.
Best Group of all times.......That’s all 😏😉
Is this ever been released on cd ( bootleg) ???
Gotta love the enthusiasm of the guy screaming "Supper's Redaaaaaay" at the beginning of the clip :D
I was at this concert 11th row on the floor it was my first concert I still remember this like yesterday I was 15 also mama was the first song they played one of the best shows I wish the entire show was uploaded
@illegalalien2 Thank you very much for the information. Let me tell you I really enjoy listening to this video. A must have !
So true. I get sick of people who are so close-minded about Collins that they can't even admit that he sang the closing sections of Supper's Ready better than Gabriel, especially once Phil got that raspy edge in the 1980s to go along with his ability to hit high notes. Seeing them do this song in its entirety on the 1982 Encore tour was the most powerful experience I ever had at a concert. Simply awe-inspiring.
Epic epic epic!! Why wasn’t this track included in the Laser Disc from Wembley??? Crazy.
@Bang0r Fat chance, he couldn't even perform I know what I like in the original key!
I must say you have, as far as I know, one of the last videos of this band playing Supper's Ready, period!. It was during the US leg of the tour Phil list his voice enough where he couldn't keep pulling it off every night. By the time the live video was recorded at Wembly on the 4th of July 87' to close out the tour, this had been long replaced. Who cares about the quality, it's good enough to see. Prior to this it was the King Biscuit recordings to hear another epic Qiet Slumbers, which kicked ass. All of these are simply the best piece of music ever recorded , PERIOD!!!!
Thank you for sharing this with us. It's so incredible to see as someone who was too young to go to this show at the time.
If anyone else has more than this footage, please let me know.
Cheers
I knew this was MSG but I was unaware of what night. I was there 1st tier off the floor behind the board. Best sound! Great show!
Thank you so much for sneaking your video camera into this concert . Back in 1986 that could not have been easy . I saw them a few weeks later in Chicago . Thanks for letting me relive a great memory .
lol imagine listening to that guy screamin ' YEAHHHHH all night ! lmao
See older prog Genesis fans?, they do play the songs they used on their fantastic prog pieces and use them for live sections
If they had lowered the tune, surely Collins would be able to sing this song in 1992! This Steve Hackett version makes me think about it: ua-cam.com/video/wMGbdIKr0ws/v-deo.html
I was at both Forest Hills Tennis Stadium shows after seeing them at JFK Stadium in Philly right before that. 3 performances of Suppers Ready live in a matter of days.
Magnificent! So gutted that they dropped this section for Wembley in 87....17 year old me would have gone nuts!
phill had no problem singing this song that is BS BS BS BS BS, it was a matter of doing things that were more commercial. pressure my studio and agents caused this. this song is not hard for Phil to sing. sounds like a lame attempt to stick with commercial stuff.
That made no sense whatsoever.
True.
It was Tony who wanted to perform "Afterglow" instead of "Supper's Ready".
que bueno ver la reacción de los fans ante la verdadera muy buena e innovadora música de la banda!, en esa época la mayoría solo se enganchaba con su etapa pop dejando de lado todo su valiosísima música anterior a los 80.
It’s a damn shame that they only pro recorded that lane Wembley show on this tour. This is beautiful
@yesshows100
I WAS AT THE LAST 2 SHOWS ON THE THU AND FRI NIGHT AND WHAT GREAT SHOWS THEY WERE. I CAME OVER WITH THE UK FAN CLUB THEN IN THE NEW YEAR WENT TO FLORIDA FOR THE CITRUS BOWL AND ORANGE BOWL GIGS AND AS YOU SAY WE ALSO WERE BITTERLY DISAPPOINTED THEY DROPPED SUPPERS READY, APPARENTLY IT WAS KILLING HIS VOICE, HE DIDNT DO IT AGAIN, I WAS HOPEING THEY WOULD DO IT FOR US ON HOME SOIL BUT IT WASN,T TO BE. WEATHER WAS NICE IN FLORIDA THOUGH AND ALL THAT FREE BEER IN THE MICHLOEB TENT!LOL
@Madman007 Are you sure with Rutherford? Daryl Stuermer played the guitar on Suppers Ready, Mike only played the Bass. But would have been if the band swapped the instruments and Mike would have done the Suppers Ready Solo :D
This is tremendous. I was in the audience mid center. I was blown away while watching them do this epic piece! I still am!! B-) Matt Halper
@illegalalien2 Dude, I taped both those shows, the 29th is gone, I wish I still had that, I have a few more places to look for it; I know I put it on hifi vhs many years ago. I still have a first gen of the 22nd, it is a really great sounding recording. I'll have to get them remastered and upped on the torrent site.
@sharethemusic
Hi Andy. OK. They played MSG 5 nights in a row. I was there for nights 1 & 2. I jumped out of my shoes when they went into this. In 1987 we got sick when they went into Afterglow instead. Citrus Bowl & Orange Bowl. As if you didn't know this already.
Thanks to you Illegal Alien and whoever recorded this marvellous ending.
There will never be another band to equal Genesis. The world that created them is gone.
Yup, that's NY! But so many people wanted to hear That's All instead. No thanks.
Lost interest after abacab, thought duke was very good
They played this in Providence, RI. I do not know how anyone snuck a camera from 1986 into the arena. They practically stripped searched us when going into the show. Maybe there had been some films such as this going around?
PHIL sing BETTER then PETER................SR.........e piu' consona alla voce di PHIL...perche' ha un estensione maggiore di PETER........questa e' la REALTA'....
I obviously saw them at the wrong time and in the wrong place on this tour. Only took me twenty-five years to find out.
