I'm finding this one really confusing. Particularly when you start trimming the bottom overlapping part of the shank, duplicating the edges and then using sweep1 rail. Once done, the bottom part of the ring just looks a little bit off but then you swap the design with stone set video which in fact looks different. I'm a little bit cofounded with such videos that you make as it's really difficult to follow and learn from.
Hello PJ, thanks for all your videos. I'd like to ask you about a video with a castle setting. I've been having some issues in this matter. It would help me with my designs quite a lot hehe Thanks in advance
it look like bead setting on side of ring shank after googling. I have several video for bead setting on my stone setting playlist. Is there any particular question you have different from bead setting?
Hi Mr.Chen, may I ask you a question? I just followed how you step by step,,but when I rebuild the curve, originally its number of control points are over 200...so I couldn't adjust the number just like yours. so I didn't rebuild it and when I tried sweep1 rail, some parts of the shank didn't turn out. I might adjust the setting which is related with control point. Would you let me know how to solve the problem? Thank you!!!
@@PJChenJewelryDesign Thank you so much!!! also I found that the degree was '1' on rebuild option..that might bother making smooth curve(maybe..??). Thanks again!!!
I know that's same.. i mean.. make vid on some tools we generally not use. I use nearly 30-40 commands. To make my job. But there r hundreds of commands i don't even know how can i use them .
I just need to learn some lesson how to make customs chain for the necklace! I knew some technical how to make simple claps or box claps with a tongue in there!!
The ability to project line work to curves is so useful. The pull command is nice as well.

Hi Jungsun, when you rebuild curves, all sessions will become one single curves, and the sweep will be smoother. So make sure you rebuild the curve.

You should make a video on (rhino 4 or 5 ) tools .. that will be much helpful.
Most of the commands I used are the same to use in Rhino 5.
