My Shoei GT Air 2 is due for renewal this year, the things I like about this lid are venting which does seem superior to other brands. I also like that Arai aren’t forcing you down a specific route with built in comm’s unlike my Shoei. The adjustment on fit is similar to my existing lid and like all Arai’s there’s no internal sunshade (no great loss for me).
Expensive, but when you spread the costs over 5 years the difference is negligible - great review!
Have you made a decision yet? I am using a GT Air 1 and am in between the XD5 and the GT Air 3. Can't decide.
@@FirstnameLastname-pe3ky Not yet, won’t be happening until next month at the earliest but I’m 90% for the Arai (Comm’s and peak - sun shade, which is more useful than a flip down sun visor, are swaying me)
