Servus, Ihr Lieben! Letztes Wochenende hatten wir die einzigartige Gelegenheit, den traditionellen Viehscheid in den atemberaubenden Oberstdorfer Alpen hautnah miterleben zu dürfen. Das malerische Oytal, umgeben von majestätischen Gipfeln und saftigen Almwiesen, war der perfekte Schauplatz für dieses spektakuläre Ereignis.
Der Viehscheid ist ein jahrhundertealter Brauch in den bayerischen Alpen, bei dem die Hirten ihre Herden von den Hochalmen zurück ins Tal führen. Dieses Ereignis markiert das Ende des Sommers und den Beginn des Herbstes. Dabei werden die Kühe, Ziegen, Schafe und andere Tiere, die den Sommer über auf den Almwiesen verbracht haben, von ihren traditionell geschmückten Halsglocken befreit und den Bauern zugeordnet.
Es ist ein beeindruckendes Schauspiel, das von Gesang, Musik und festlicher Stimmung begleitet wird. Die bunt geschmückten Tiere werden von den Hirten stolz präsentiert, und die Besucher können die Vielfalt der Rassen bewundern, die auf den Alpen beheimatet sind.
Wir waren überwältigt von der Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit der Einheimischen, die uns eingeladen haben, an diesem besonderen Ereignis teilzunehmen.
