I studied a masters on AI specifically to be the spearhead of this revolution, but I quickly found out that most companies are slow to adapt this change. I genuinely believe that this change will be popular soon.

good information and editing! English accent is very bad but I'm confident you'll get much better just by doing these more. Good luck!

As someone whos job is to write programs for these machines, i do not believe that AI will take over this sector.
Manufacturing machines always perform specific tasks and only do as they are told, exactly as they are told. This means that if the program is tested. This means that a the machine will perform the exact same step each and every time. If you allow the machine to deside for itself, this will sooner or later cause a wrong desision that may produce a product that is not the required standard, destroy the part or the machine itself or indanger humans.
    Machines are not perfect!
A machine needs regular maintenance and corrections, this cannot be done by a ai but needs.
A malfunctioning sensor needs to alert a employee to take over and not guess what to do on incorrect sensor data.
    AI makes mistakes.
The current Large Language models are often incorrect and easy to hallucinate. Letting a system like this control a production line is like roling a dice every time and hoping to get a good result.
TLDR current machine software is reasonably static, or made with static data, build by a human. If there is a error, you can find it in the source code or in the loaded data. If you let the ai guess, it will get a diffrent result almost every time

Using AI to allow machines to design for themselves learning will lead to a lot of uncontrollable results, but because of the AI boom and imaginable huge benefits, some companies will be willing to try.

@@ICONE-chip-videos manufacturing machines are very expensive, nobody is willing to risk these machines to let a uncontrollable and unaccountable system control them
