So my magnet keeps popping out too... I stuck it back in but it fell out AGAIN. I'm thinking about super gluing the magnet back in. What did you do to solve this besides buying a new fader?
Been doin it for over 15 years. wd40 lubes and cleans. Every 3 months I wd40 the faders of my 2 mixers. My vestax pmc07 up faders have been wd40'd for 10 years 4 times a year and they run great. Don't soak it in wd40. Just apply some on a paper towel and clean the faders. Faders collect dust that actually sticks to the lubed metal. Wd40 cleans that. The lube they sell is the same lube you can find anywhere. So the right process to clean the problem on the Rane which I ran into is to wd40 the fader and then apply your lube
Thank you
Great video
thank you, I bough a 62 in eBay and this video helped me to solve this problem

During the time, we had purchased Guitar Center extended warranty and had them request a manufacturer repair.
You will have to put some super glue on the magnet and push it back in .Mine keeps falling out during heavy scratching and beat juggling
had the same
Keep it real homie!
wd40 the upfaders
thats a horrible idea, never ever use wd40 on a mixer
