We Jamaicans are so giving and accepting of others, yet living abroad you experience hostility from whites and are often stereotyped as there to take away from them which is so so sad.
13:21👏👏👏👏👏👏 MISSING completely!! When see these children fighting teachers ,or any adults you know where the society is at . Heidi , you know what you're talking about. As a child , the phrase , " manners carry you through the world " was engraved into my brain .
Ms Heidi, I’m happy that you made Jamaica your home and that you went further by becoming a Jamaican citizen. Great interview again Xavier, I’m looking forward to seeing more.
I know Sanside, not far from the sea and Port Maria, used to live in Idlewild and Oracabessa, used to vist James Bond Beach when it was free. Read books on the dock and watched the sunset. Missed those days. I shall return 😌
👀First time commenting, truly admire this lady. She is so genuine with her love for Jamaica. I hope God keeps her safe Always, Good health and happiness to her and family. 🤛🏽🥰
Great interview, a lovely and gracious person. I am enjoying this series as much as I have the others, however.....just a thought, I don't think a revisit would be a bad idea to some of the people you have already interviewed in the "What's it like to be Jamaican living in?" series perhaps to see how and where they are in their experience abroad, or perhaps to interview another person in those Countries, since often people's experiences and perspectives may differ. Anyway...just suggestions, not commandments Mr. Xavier, keep up the good work as always.
Beautiful soul, but I would have liked to know how long she's being living there, as far as the driving is all over the place expecially these younger generation and knowing everything, loving is on the top of the list with bad drivers.
I do agree with her about the driving. I live in the a foreign and when I visited Jamaica a couple years ago my heart was in my mouth every time I go on the road. It’s horrible the way those men drive , because usually it’s the men.
@@Favouredandree I know that jamaicans, have british, american and maybe canada passport with the jamaican passport. I apply for german citizenship 2008 at it was not allowed to have jamaican and german passport ! What I was asking how does she has both ? If some rules change

@@shawnyafrosamurai9940 but jamaican do not ?
@@altheagoulbourne7044 are you for real
@@altheagoulbourne7044 I must disagree because that's an incorrect statement. There are Jamaicans with more than dual citizenship.
