Take a look at the 12 principles of animation, ua-cam.com/video/uDqjIdI4bF4/v-deo.html&ab_channel=AlanBeckerTutorials and I'd say start simple and build your way up, bouncing ball is the typical starting point, for software I think Krita is a p good free software for animation
I didn’t even know that this was an animations first of all, the movements would just be unbelievably realistic for this to actually be an animation all along.
Now understanding that this is animation, with all the movements, graphics and even perceived thoughts from the animated animal are thought up and controlled by you guys, it stands to reason that it looks real to 99.9% of the viewers of this vid,--because we have never witnessed or studied what a seal does on a beach. If we are going to rely on vids for us to figure out reality from now on, (speaking of deep fake vids, as this one may be), mankind will be in big trouble. Nothing good comes from thinking outside of reality.
