Our backyard has a river and this video helped me understand better the riparian buffer. We have a neighbor who is actively cleaning the whole stretch of the river from dead tree branches and any debris. He is doing it by himself. Great guy. He cut those overgrown trees and fallen branches with a chainsaw. I sometimes remove fallen branches from the river and let them dry up to use them as a firewood on our wood stove. I wish to use only the wood stove to cook during warm weather to save some electric bill 🤪but I don’t want to overwhelm the neighborhood from the smoke from the wood stove so we only use it occasionally.
