This may be a bit of a daft suggestion, but stick Jack stand's boat back on the ramp, shove a hose in it, turn it on and see where the water leaks out. You won't need to go deep, but it will find if there is a big enough crack to leak.
I've got a boat with a blown motor, but I know it's watertight because it fills up like a bathtub.

I met George at RMRW Denver before covid. Dude is a genuine nice guy! He didn't have to talk with me but he did. We BS'd about the channel and projects for about 5 minutes. Very cool dude, congrats to him for doing what he wants and what will make him the happiest

Imagine you are in a closet machining heads while looking at your friends making money while having a blast. From jet boating, going on race week, to circle track racing crown vics. And working on everything with new projects constantly. They are balling and the business growth is tremendous, If you were offered a job to join your friends would you? I really like Jeremy but I cannot blame George for joining one of the largest things in the automotive world right now. A new shop, fresh start, and I'm sure the pay is great. Jeremy seems like a great dude and is very knowledgeable but who could turn down that opportunity, yall act its not cool for cleet to do it because they all are/were? Friends but I think that makes it more acceptable. It's not like George went to work for someone that he knows nothing about and dived on the first train out of there. George, James and cleet have a matching vibe and energy. I've watched cleet since he put a procharger on a leased ram 1500, and now he has Larry mac announcing his own circle track race at his own track. Idk who wouldn't want to join the team.
It's just kind of a shitty situation really. When they started Jeremy was their go to expert, but whereas Cleet and co were going up and up with wilder builds, Jeremy just never stepped it up when the others were, he was just doing the same old, having a bit of fun tuning stock ECUs and doing an okay-but-hardly-groundbreaking job of working on the cars, whilst primarily concentrating on the day to day work. Certainly his work isn't on the same level as Kevin's and he never really bothered to get deep into tuning the Holley stuff which meant he kinda made himself redundant.
I feel that George just saw the opportunity and took it whereas Jeremy completely missed the bus - I'm not saying that's Jeremy's fault, but it's just one of the realities of the harsh world of UA-cam - not everybody makes it. Whilst Fasterproms is a good business and I'm sure will continue to have a following, it also takes up most of Jeremy and co's time meaning that their exciting fun projects which draw the views in are very much back burner things, and that means they don't have the time to perfect everything.
The result of only working on cars in your downtime around customer cars is that you end up with cars like the S10 being a complete fabricobbled disaster for a long long time. I think Jeremy would have done better by simply doing up the Miata in a sensible way and building up from there rather than kicking off your channel by announcing this wild extreme build that you have neither the time nor money to complete in a reliable way and just never really delivering.
For what it's worth I find George kind of annoying but you can hardly be mad at the guy for seizing an opportunity, and hardly be mad at Cleet for helping him out. I'm sure Jeremy would have been along for the ride too but I think at some point he had to make a tough choice - give up Fasterproms, your own company that you founded? I don't blame Jeremy for saying no in that case, especially as he probably made that choice when he was starting the Fasterproms channel and starting his own projects instead of working on Cleet's, but you can't really blame the end result on anyone, it just turned out the way it did.
I hope that one day all of your dreams get answered, and you finally get to taste Cleetus
I see your point but it relies on George being a huge scoop. If we’re honest, George isn’t exactly a master mechanic. He does bring humour to the party but he’s not going to be centre stage like he was with Jeremy. There’s only one reason Cleetus would take him and that’s to piss off Jeremy. I think he’ll get annoyed working for Cleetus, give it a year!
And who knows what George may be able to do for Motion Raceworks as well! Guy has ported a lot of shit and sure he has fresh ideas that he may be able to do now. Wish them all the best.

Multiple small holes makes a big leak, lots of the self tappers may be leaking if you didn't use a sealant on them, easiest check is fill her up with a hose and chase drips, won't show cracks though as the weight pushes them shut untill it's floating
They need to remove the skins and thread all bilts back in and do this. There will be no chance of finding a crack or leak with the plastic on as it'll just look like it's running fron the center join of the plastic.

Based on what Jeremy said and timing, George ditched work for race week, not doing customer work for Jeremy so he got canned. Then Cleet picked him up instantly. Also, Cleet has commented before that they were trying to steal George so....... imagine the mixed bag of feelings all around.

When installing the carbon seal use liquid dish soap so when you start it up it’s not 100% dry. It will allow it to make a better seal. We use this in carbon pump seals recirculating pumps on cooling towers.

@@patrickr2686 Jeremy and Cleetus have been split for more than a year. Jeremy up and says one day he is too busy to tune cars and never shows back up to do so. We have seen him maybe 4 times in the past year tuning anything and he is usually not in a video for more than a few minutes. They were never really friends, just aquatinted while they started their channels and parted ways.

They haven't been cool with each other in a year or more now. Jeremy just up and stops tuning his cars because he is,too busy? In the past year we have only seen him in 4-5 videos for very short periods. Cleetus made an effort to keep FP on leroy and promote them from time to time. It just boils down to Cleetus and Jeremy were never real friends. Just aquatinted and trying to help each other start their channels up and then Cleetus paid half the shop rent.

@@Dontgetenslaved I thought before Cleet even moved in to Jeremy's shop they were racing go carts together. And Jeremy tuned his white C7 for him 6 or 7 months ago. Also, just two months ago there was a Fasterproms video of Jeremy and Cleetus racing the Marauder vs Jeremy's Crown Vic at Showtime speedway. They all seemed to be having a good time in those videos.
