Dave is a genius, his songs are literally works of art. Even 1 line in his songs can be interpreted with multiple meanings. If what people took away from Dave's song is that hes anti-white then they completely missed the point and are deflecting it cos of the title of the song or some secret racial prejudice or victim complex and nothing more. There is no actual prejudice in the song he simply says black people deserve to be treated as humans like everyone else. Society has a real problem towards those who are not like them and this isnt just white people (which baffles me why they take so much offence) but even other origins view blacks or others in certain ways. I had an asian friend of mine once tell me that black people are the cause of crime in his area and now I'm not in contact with this individual and ever since then I stopped talking to them cos its appalling that people of different cultures hold such racist stereotypes towards each other. This was a song for everyone to understand that not everyone can be painted under the same brush. 1 can even interpret the song from their own perspective cos in some way we all feel wronged in this forsaken world so maybe its time we stopped hating on each other for empowering our people be it black, white, asian, muslim, Christian, jew or whatever and instead we should take pride in our origins not tell others to not take pride in theirs.
